"Lovely hotel for a few days in port Patrick. The staff were very helpful and looked after my wife and I. The room was adequate with everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The bathroom was of a good size but the shower was difficult to get in and out. Loads of walking options available and every where was dog friendly. The food was really good and the breakfast was first class. The lady looking after us at breakfast was so helpful and a really nice. Great place to stay."

"My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in the junior suite room in the old part of the hotel The room was lovely and large with some original features. Very large seperate bathroom with “antique” fixtures and fittings Very large double bed which was very comfortable Stunning views across Portpatrick and across the Irish sea. Great staff, friendly and helpful Veggie breakfast was hot and freshly cooked (but could have been bigger) Evening meal had several veggie options (pizza, squash pie, curry, burger) but these could have been better Would be happy to stay here again but I'd also hope by then the hotel has taken a few steps forward refresh the rooms. Paintwork is looking tired; fix what needs fixing; bathroom window didn't close properly and was sealed by tape add a few small touches – eg shower cap; replace the rubber plug in the bathroom sink with something more fitting extend the veggie menu – pasta, salads, risotto"

"Had a lovely stay here. Although it is out the way the directions were perfect. The host was so friendly, answered all my questions, nothing was too much trouble. Perfectlcation for a chilled weekend to recharge batteries. Love being by the sea, views are just beautiful "
Dairy Cottage East Challoch Farm

"It was a beautiful experience staying here, the cottage was immaculate and even had the condiments to make tea/coffee or hot chocolate with biscuits. The owners were very friendly and helpful.We look forward to visiting east Challoch farm again."

The Harbour House Hotel

"It is right next to the water and has a nice position and view of the rest of the small town (village). We would stay again if we had to, as we couldn't find a place to stay in the actual town of Stranraer the Inn is located in Portpatrick). It was adequate for the price. We ate somewhere else, but the restaurant seemed busy. It was also pretty quiet for a pub/restaurant in the summer, which we appreciated."

"We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean, quiet and comfortable, with great views. It's conveniently placed to be able to explore sites and attractions in the area. Only suggestions would be to look at the flooring which seemed to be giving way in some places. Also, we didn't use the hot tub as the welcome booklet said it needed to be cleaned after use but it wasn't clear how to clean it. Otherwise, all good."
Where better to enjoy the hot tub in this delightful and private garden.

"The house was great for our family celebration. It was very clean and had everything we needed, we especially appreciated the excellent disabled facilities. It was a lovely touch receiving bread, milk and biscuits!Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and perfect for bringing everyone together."
