The house is lovely, with good-sized rooms and lots of common areas. It's well-located, too - a short walk to downtown Barre. Really excellent breakfast, too!
Caryn runs a lovingly-maintained home, and makes a delicious full breakfast! Everything here felt just as cozy and comfortable as a bed-and-breakfast should. I'd happily return.
An amazing Victorian experience the host Caryn is incredibly informative and well versed in the local area, and with her farm to table home made breakfast the experience was absolutely incredible
The location, beauty, and Victorian decor provided a special weekend for us. The owner’s attention to our needs and welcoming spirit made us feel at home. We liked the ‘farm to table’ food concept in the delicious breakfasts. Our two room suite was very relaxing for snoozing, quiet times and study. Fans were all we needed to stay comfortable.
Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.
What a beautiful historic house! Caryn has made it into a lovely home, and was a wonderful hostess. The room was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious - thick fluffy pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. Would totally recommend.
It’s a beautiful historical house turned b&b at the perfect location for Vermont lovers.
The breakfast was our highlight of stay! The homemade muffins and a good conversation along with a strong cup of coffee makes you want to come back for more.
Warm and welcoming, Caryn the host provides everything necessary for a wonderful visit! The homemade breakfasts are outstanding! Our room was spotless with a comfy bed
