"We enjoyed our stay, the location and view was amazing. Easy ck in, easy ck out. Chelsea was great. The only problem I had was the comfort of the furniture. My son and I stayed 4 days, he is 6'2", therefore I had to use the guest room, with a twin trundle bed, as it was way too short for him. The primary room bed was comfortable. The trundle bed is not. I would suggest putting a comfortable larger guest bed in that room that is for an adult. The L shaped sofa is comfortable on top, but way too low. I am 65 yrs old and it was painful to try to get up from the sofa, it was 4 inches lower than my knee. It was only place to sit or lounge, as the only chair is falling apart. My family that visited while we were there complained of the height of sofa and chair as well. SOFA IS WAY TOO LOW. The chair in living area needs to be thrown away. It is a rickety thin metal chair with no cushion, and if feels like it will collapse at any moment. Speaking of collapsing, if you move the coffee table, it collapses, it is very heavy and solid wood and beautiful, but you cannot move it closer to the sofa and when it collapses it causes injury if you are in the way. The dining table has such sharp edges along the bench it hurts the backs of a person's legs. Unable to sit and play games. I give the stay, area, apartment and bathrooms 5 stars, and give most of the furnishings 1 star. The owner should make the furnishings more comfortable for guests. Parking was great, easy and accommodating. "

"This is a great place for me to stay because my brother lives on the property. It is very convenient. Comfortable, and in a very lovely rural location. If you are looking to stay in the heart of the town, this isn’t it, but if you are looking for a comfortable easy enjoyable spot in paradise, you got it here."

"Unfortunately, a heavy storm passed through just before our Christmas trip, making the "cabin" uninhabitable for up to 2 days. We didn't get any of the Evolve notification emails/calls due to being outside of cell service. We drove the whole way there, unpacked and played in the snow all afternoon, before learning there is no generator for the property. After speaking with the gracious owner, we packed and left with heavy hearts. She told us the full situation and to go home, with assurance of a full refund. Later, we learned Evolve had offered us to check-in and out one day later, if the power was restored in time. After discussing the options with my family, I called the next day to see if the situation was corrected. The owner told us things were corrected and that we could return, adjusting our reservation by one day. I told her not to worry about cleaning, we'll take it as we left it, and she agreed. Still, the thoughtful owner went and primped it a little anyways before we returned, and turned on the heat for us. What could have been a full Christmas crisis was mostly averted thanks to the owner and Evolve working with us to make it happen.Things to know: The Edgwood "cabin" is actually the large backside of a decent sized house with wi-fi and cable. It's older and had some cosmetic issues inside at the time of our stay, but nothing that would stop me from staying again. The kitchen is a full kitchen, including microwave (no dishwasher), equipped with all the basic things. Just bring your food, foil and storage bags. The beds are super soft and comfy. The owner is a total sweetheart who went out of her way to accommodate our snow play requests. If there's no snow at/near the property, the snow mobile park is just up the road. 4x4 is truly required in winter, this is not a suggestion."

"Great place to stay!!! Had a girls weekend and this place had it all. Super cute quiet and great location. Beds were comfortable and the deck and view of the back was perfect to hang out on. Will definitely being booking again!!!"

"This is a hard review to write as I generally say really positive things and have such a good experience with Expedia. We booked this cabin when visiting Lassen National Park. On the plus side: Great WiFi and TV Communication We could walk to the Bambi Inn for dinner the first night Kitchen was well stocked On the not so plus side: The bathroom was dirty The bathroom needed a total refresh - the paint was in terrible shape as well as broken baseboards and moulding The immediate area around the cabin felt 'deserted' (at least on the nights we were there) And DONT park under the pine tree in front of the cabin or you will spend 2 plus hours cleaning the pitch off your car in Susanville."
