Loved the vibe of this hotel, staff were helpful and amazing, the rooms were clean and beautiful! Definitely recommend, right on Main Street to walk all the shops, great coffee shops and will Definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds! The only thing I would improve is the breakfast venue that is included. Incorporate more in what is available. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Great place to stay. Welcoming atmosphere, great room (quiet), great food, and great cocktails. I was in town to see a show at the Center for Arts and it was super quick walking distance (less than 300 feet).

The Holbrooke is very beautiful place to stay not only to stay but to eat and drink and be married. I had a great time bar is immaculate. The room was particular. There was a wedding going on and the bar filled up afterwards. It was romantic and amazing. We checked in. I wish I knew her name but she was very sweet and nice and cute. I had a good time. I almost did not wanna leave.

What a beautiful hotel. Beautiful town with lots to do. Loved everything about it. The staff was very kind, professional, friendly. I guess I missed that it was a tv-free hotel but, we managed. Frittata and coffee each morning. GREAT brunch. Food there is amazing. Enjoyable bar down in the Lobby area. We will definitely go back.

Had the perfect place right off the back with a walk up and small porch. It was the downtown farmer's market with bands and vendors and a quick walk from the hotel. Wonderful stay!

The upside is: the hotel is in a beautifully restored, historic building centrally located in downtown Grass Valley.. The downside is a lack of amenities. The included breakfast was bare bones - no fruit, no juice, no cereal/oatmeal, no yogurt, just coffee/tea, mini scones & a vegetable fritta that was dry & bland. Since it's an historic hotel, there isn't a workout room, and, not a single tv in the entire hotel - not even in the bar area. Finally, the hotel seemed to be understaffed as many times the front desk was unattended because that person had to cover another areas of the hotel, i.e., servicing the breakfast area, delivering supplies to hotel guests, etc.. The restaurant & bar were well run with customer focused staff.

Oldest hotel, amazingly restored. Has its quirks which makes it even more intriguing to stay there. We have stayed here before and loved it even more this time. Staff is amazing and makes your stay welcoming and comfortable.

Awesome place to stay for a getaway. My queen room was relatively small quarters yet comfortable for exactly what I wanted in a solo staycation. 10/10 recommend roaming town and meeting strangers. There are a lot of awesome people in town. Front desk and staff definitely made the stay easy living.

A lovely boutique hotel in downtown grass Valley. Super comfortable rooms with excellent bedding, linens, and amenities. It’s lovely to have a room that does not have a TV! I would stay again in a heartbeat.
