Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern

Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern

10/10 Excellent
"Great location near the old town and in front of the water. The best part is that you can swim in the lake in front of the hotel. The hotel looks great but it feels to me some of the server lack training and perhaps the chain is getting bigger as it doesn’t feel special anymore. In other high end hotels the check in is special, here it feels like any other check in."

Frequently asked questions

Which area of Stoos is best to stay in for skiing?
For skiing in Stoos, the best area to stay is directly in the village centre, close to the Stoosbahn funicular station. This compact village is car-free and sits atop a mountain. Staying here means you're just a short walk from the main ski lifts, including the chairlifts that take you up to the Klingenstock and Fronalpstock peaks. The ski school and rental shops are also conveniently located within the village, making it easy to get onto the slopes quickly.Families often find the village centre ideal because of the easy access to the ski slopes and children's ski areas.
