Ideal for a short break
This is our third visit which probably says it all! The property is war, clean , comfortable and peaceful. It isn't really equipped for proper cooking but has a toaster, small mobile hot plate and toaster, very adequate for our needs. Our hosts were friendly,welcoming and unobtrusive.

Small kitchen cottage
Great bed, shower and settee but the kitchen was so small and would benefit with an upgrade. No hotplate only a microwave and grill combi. Grill difficult to operate. Dish washer is not required. Instead a full fridge would be better as I found the fridge too low for my back. The grass in the garden was very deep and the fence too low for one of our dogs who bound jump it. Also the entrance to the accommodation had abnormally high steps.

Spacious retreat
Most places look spacious in the photos but when you arrive they are tiny….. this place is amazingly spacious. Beautiful windows to look out over farms/gardens. Ray was so welcoming bringing toys for our son. Communication/ check in was very easy. Buses run very frequently just a short walk down the road. The only down side was that we didn’t stay long enough!

The property was very spacious and well set out. This helped to make our stay very nice. The West Wing was spotlessly clean and comfortable. On the downside the location was slightly outside the closeness we would have liked to have been to Stonehaven. Albeit it was a very nice and quiet area. Wouldn’t think twice about recommending this place to anyone looking for a nice break.

Rural Haven
An absolutely lovely place to stay within close range to many places to visit. Spacious and quiet it gave us a little haven away from the hustle of travelling. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

Very good
Excellent location for us. Kitchenette sufficiently well equipped for us as we didn’t need to cook meals. Sitting room and bedroom / en-suite very comfortable. We know the area well so knew it was safest /easiest to go to turn left onto the dual carriageway ( towards Aberdeen) and double back at the roundabout at Portlethen to head towards Stonehaven.

Another great stay
The property is warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sheila is responsive to communications , and was happy to accommodate a change of date when we needed it. This was our second stay, it probably won't be our last. Once again, thank you Sheila.

Nice stay!
Property was nice and clean when we arrived and was in a great location with both Stonehaven and Aberdeen a ten minute drive away. The host had printout of near by walks which was very helpful for our dog walks. The host also provided a high chair and travel cot for us on request and was very accommodating as a whole.

Fantistic
Sheila & Ray make you feel so welcome and very accommodating. I have two dogs and Ray couldn't do enough to make sure they were safe and not able to escape from the garden. We will defiantly be going back

Excellent accommodation everything was immaculate you could not have asked for more even little touches like special tea, coffee pods , salt and pepper etc. Even my dog JJ had an excellent stay. Thank you to Sheila and Ray who were excellent hosts and gave you total privacy.

Perfect location for me
A very relaxing week for me and my dog. Plenty of easy walks for the dog in the surrounding area. Easy access for Aberdeen, Stonehaven and Deeside. Nice area for the dog to lie outside when we weren't out and about. Relaxing sofa and very comfortable bed which is very important for me for all my aches and pains. Would highly recommend.

Very good base for local touring
Very clean property and owners are friendly and helpful. Useful information on local places of interest available. Warm and welcoming after a day out walking the dogs. Cooking facilities basic but adequate for small meals. TV had good choice of stations for those odd nights in. Easy access to main road and local shops and restaurants etc. Would stay there again.

Great Find
Ideal property for a quiet stay, not to far from all the buzz of Stonehaven or Aberdeen. Sheila gave us great instructions for dog walks from the property ranging from 10 mins to 60 mins which were super. Helped that the weather was fab. Accommodation exactly as described on the website. Would stay again if in the area.

Good stay
Sheila was very prompt in answering any questions we had right from day 1. Eventhough we thought we were getting more than 2 rooms, and a proper kitchen, as we like to cook our own meals while away, the place was lovely and clean, when we realised there was no freezer I asked Sheila, and we were provided with one on the same day, which I think is excellent service. Lovely garden pity we couldnt spend more time in it due to weather, the beach and some lovely sites close by, short drives. It was a nice relaxed enjoyable week.

Cosy West Wing
It suited our purposes. The bed was amazingly comfortable and great shower. The country round about is breathtaking. Not convivial to cooking and a few coat hooks wouldn’t go amiss! If we didn’t normally have kids, we would definitely go back.

Property was lovely, setting ideal for walking, surrounding area lovely and central for touring the area. First time at Angus coastal tourist route but will definitely come back and recommend the accommodation to family and friends.

Lovely retreat

Comfortable, clean and warm.
Booking and location suited us perfectly. Everything was clean and comfortable. However assumed by the photos and description we were booking the "West Wing " ....annex to the main house. In fact we were in the main house on the ground floor, not exactly a cottage as described.

A Comfortable Base.

The best!
What a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could want in a vacation accommodation. Extremely clean and comfortable and a great neighborhood for walking. There are restaurants and a great ice cream place nearby. .Sheila was a wonderful hostess and took time to go over everything in the apartment plus giving us tips on nearby attactions.

Perfect little hideaway
Lovely wee cottage just off the beaten track, but close to Aberdeen and stonehaven would highly recommend this place for a lovely quiet time with your loved one, had everything we needed and very clean and stylish 10/10

The apartment was lovely, clean and very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this apartment, it was well worth the price we paid for it. It was very easy to find, just outside Stonehaven and a stone's throw from Aberdeen. The apartment had everything required for a weekend stay, lots of reading material on the places to visit. The owner kept in touch regularly just in case we needed anything. Just up the road is a small retail site with a 24hr Asda, and a B&M Store and a McDonald's ( not opened yet) I would definitely recommend this apartment, we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend there.

Spacious and Relaxing
A good place to stay, close to A90 so some road noise but very convenient for travelling around area and easy access to local supermarket and close to Stonehaven. Clean property with good furnishings, well equipped and spacious, although kitchenette is part of living room. Good outlook and patio doors to garden space. Warm welcome by owner's niece.

Wonderful home, spectacular hosts.
My wife and I were in Scotland helping our son get settled at Aberdeen University so we rented Cammach house for 18 days and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The drive to downtown Aberdeen is about 12 miles away. There is local shopping available for groceries and other goods about 15 minutes away by car. Sheila, the owner of Cammach House, is extremely accommodating and very organized. She had folders with maps and information on local sites to visit and answered all our questions. We were more than pleased to meet her and stay in her home. The West Wing (where we stayed) is private and the home was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend Cammach House.
