A huge, private garden which gets a lot of sun. Inside the property was very clean (we'd had some anxiety as we were visiting during concern about Covid 19) with all amenities. The location is great - a 15/20 min walk into Sedgefield and a good base for many attractions. The owners were unobtrusive but certainly friendly and on hand if needed. The location is an easy half hour drive from Newcastle. Perfect for visiting Durham or Newcastle University and some fabulous nearby historic sites. The cottage is in a great location being close to the town (five minutes from a large Sainsburys open till 10 pm), and yet also in a lovely quiet rural setting.
