First, I arrived at 10PM and had to check in through a bulletproof glass window while I froze outside for 15 minutes. In the middle of checking me in, the clerk chose to help another guest who knocked on the locked sliding glass door instead of asking them to wait in order to finish my transaction. I asked the clerk if this was a crime laden area or something and he said from across the room no and didn't answer when I asked if he could let me in as it was very, very cold outside.
Second, in my room, there was no closet and no where to put my suitcase leaving me with the only choice to put my small open suitcase on the bathroom vanity covering the sink; in my opinion completely functionally inadequate. I moved my open suitcase onto the toilet to brush my teeth. Why not use the floor you ask? Well, there was a mere 16 inches anywhere around the queen bed. Putting my suitcase on my bed would mean I would have to move it to sleep back onto the bathroom vanity. The room was barely big enough to fit a queen bed. There was no closet or even acceptable area for my clothes, but rather a clothes rod above the coffee station to hang clothes. I chose to not hang anything as the clothes would have impeded access to the coffee station. Why even bother creating this room? I have no idea as to the size of other rooms so who knows.
I would suggest avoiding this place if at all possible. I had stayed at another hotel in the past but decided to try this "new" place. Mistakes were made.
