Beautiful property surrounded by trees in its own little world. An oasis. Wonderful restaurant with delicious chef creations and a small, intimate bar, lounge with live music. Perfect !!
This is a beautiful property with a wonderful spa and very comfortable beds. The restaurants here are fabulous and the service is exemplary. We completely enjoyed our experience.
A beautiful little oasis on the edge of town. Tranquil fountains and pathways to follow for a evening stroll after dinner. Dinner is a must for the ever changing seasonal menu and sumptuous taste. An expensive but incredible little treat for you and a special someone.
Was given a handicapped room without requesting one. The shower was designed for a wheelchair….had to skip using the shower too awkward to use….not happy with that considering what we paid for the night.
We also had a party going on upstairs at 2:00 AM!
The service was good up until our last day of our two night stay. I was most disappointed when we asked for an extra half hour to get out of our room due a conflict to our brunch reservation that we had right there at the hotel. I felt that was a small ask considering all we had spent already at the hotel. But the answer was no.
The grounds are very nice.
Picked W&R for Dinner and overnight stay for our 40 Anniversary.
Great choice!
All staff worked hard to make it the special occasion that we believed it was.
Exceptional property with thoughtful staff.
This is a charming inn run by nice people. I was in the Robert Gordon room which is essentially a suite, with a living room, bedroom and bath. It's in a great location--half a block off the main drag, right downtown. Ashland is one of my favorite towns.
Great room on bottom floor. Got locked out once when we deadbolts door from inside the later exited from patio door. Suggest to have key slot on patio door also. Great restaurant service for brunch and dinner. Very clean room and bathroom and cleaning staff awesome and friendly.
Bad experience at front desk where mgmt DIDN’T WANT to accept an actual photo (with picture) of my licence (wallet was back in car). Talked them into being reasonable but I didn’t like attitude of them doing me a favour renting me a room. Then lack of proper numbers on outside corners of buildings meant we spent 15 minutes driving around like Sherlock Holmes - this isn’t the Fairmont folks!

I'm sorry to hear that you were less than satisfied with your experience. Unfortunately, our policy is to only accept a tangible valid photo ID. A photo of a photo makes it hard for us to tell whether the ID is real or not, among other things. Hopefully you understand the need for this policy as it keeps our guests and our company safe. We genuinely look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future.
