"Wonderful location on a secluded island in the centre of Stockholm. It is about a 15 minute walk to Gamla Stan.
The hotel is a historic building in which great care has been taken with the design inside and out. We loved the gardens and it was wonderful to sit outside on the terrace to have breakfast in the glorious summer sunshine. The breakfast was very good- freshly prepared with quality ingredients. "We had a very nice stay here. It was very cozy and comfortable. If people are sensitive to noise, this might not be the best because it was close to a busy street. "I booked this stay after leaving the awful initial place I had booked. This hotel is absolutely wonderful: the rooms are perfect (with aircon), spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Even more than this, the staff are fantastic! Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful, always with a smile. There is a coffee shop and supermarket next door and the tram stops right outside the door. It’s about 20 minutes to the touristy area (one metro train and one tram for one stop). I have already recommended this hotel to friends traveling to Stockholm and I will definitely stay there again."
