My friend and I came to fish the Kenai. The property was a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle yet close to Bing's Landing for launching the boat. Grocery store and gas station were close by. Cabin is well supplied and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and made meal preparation easy. Would recommend highly.
My dad and I stayed for 10 days and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this cabin! Has everything you need, including a large deep freezer for fish on the deck. The hosts have quick response times and left fresh vegetables from their garden for us. Will be re-booking.
Jaci and Moose River Mike are great hosts. If you are looking for a truly Alaskan experience this is your place. Super friendly and easy to get along with. The cabin is the best. By god this guy has been attacked by a bear and lived nothing short of a great experience. I give them a 11 out of ten. Clean friendly and fun.
Wonderfully cared for, beautiful cabin right next to the Moose River. The cabin was very clean and warm. We really enjoyed our time here. The view of the frozen river when waking up from the bedroom window was amazing. The owners were very helpful during check-in to show us everything the property had to offer. Even in March, we utilized the outdoor gazebo and BBQ. The old woodstove in the cabin was enough to heat the place and then some. Nothing like wood heat to make you feel right at home, especially went it's 24 degrees outside. We stayed in three B & B homes on our 11 day trip. This was by far our favorite. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Alaska with a rustic sort of charm. Just to note, there is heating in the cabin if building a fire in the woodstove isn't your thing.
What a wonderful, authentic Alaskan cabin / chalet! Jaci and ‘Moose River Mike’ are awesome hosts: responsive and friendly if you need anything, but otherwise leaving you to enjoy the place as if it were your own. We caught sockeye salmon on the Kasilof and Kenai rivers and prepared fresh salmon every night! The kitchen, and the cabin, had everything we needed. (And Three Bears Alaska grocery/gas is just 5 minutes away.) The view of the Moose River from the big front windows is picture perfect. I also love that Moose River Mike’s Super Cub float plane was docked on the river, and you can read about some of his amazing adventures! We saw three moose just up the river, along with ducks and other wildlife. It’s amazingly quiet and peaceful, and if we get the chance to come back, would definitely stay here again. - Darren, Grace and Claire - Texas
Peaceful, quiet relaxed setting. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Our moose viewing right outside our cabin window was a highlight of our trip! Thank you for making our first time visit to Alaska wonderful!
We enjoyed our stay on the Moose River. Very quite and relaxing. One evening there was a moose in the river in front of the property. The cabin is very comfortable and has all the necessities of home. We would love to stay there again if we are very in the area.

Such a great place. Exceeded expectations. The cabin had more in the kitchen then expected. There's a lot of near by trails to explore. Can't wait to go back!

Peaceful and relaxing
Restful and Rustic cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, Warm and cosy with lovely views of Moose River, Moose river lived up to its name with us sighting Moose in the river. plus all the other wildlife we saw was great, Thank you Mike for making our stay a really good experience, Colleen and Hugh
The cabin was as described and then some. So much to look at and read - very interesting stuff. Also, very well stocked with anything anyone could ever need - including a sewing kit! We had a great relaxing time and highly recommend this property.
Exceptionally well equipped. Great central location to explore the Kenai Peninsula. Very peaceful and serene location. Enjoyed looking out across the river, where we spotted bald eagles, ducks and beavers. We even encountered a moose just a few metres from the cabin. Well equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and large fridge. It has a washing machine and dryer. The hosts were very responsive. Bear bells available to borrow!
The cabin was amazing! So much charm and the authentic rustic look with all the modern amenities for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. We had a great time watching the river thaw and and all the wildlife swim and fly by the cabin. The windows that faced the river was the best "TV" we watched in a long time. A wonderful getaway!
