"The place was comfortable and cozy once settled in. All amenities working and very useful in the kitchen. TV was in a weird place, but at least there was one. Only thing that was really off was check-in as I had called to notify them that there would be a late check-in around six or 6:30 PM and I was told somebody would be there until seven and if we got there late, the key would be in the lock box. Well, we pulled up at 6:20 and nobody was there with a sign on the door saying sorry we’re closed. Thankfully they had told us about the key being in the lockbox because that’s where they put it. Otherwise, no real interaction with anybody at checkout was asked if my day was nice and if I’d be returning, and for those wondering, I definitely would be."

"This home was everything and more that we could have asked for on our vacation here to scallop! We came growing up with our Dad, so it was really cool to come back with our grand kids that could fit us all comfortably and in such a beautiful space!! First of all, Derek was so helpful and quick to communicate with. Secondly, the house is gorgeous, clean, and in the perfect peaceful setting on the water. We had beautiful water views, a large property for the kids to run around on, and could put our boat in about 10 minutes away. You can tell Derek and his wife put a lot of thought into the details. We can't wait to come back again to make more memories together!! Thank you so much for everything!!!"

"I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each room, not one cup at a time!"

"EXCELLENT place to get away! Had everything you could want. Other than Dollar General, if you need anything you need to bring it (condiments) or go to Perry, FL. Only a 30 minute drive. Four Kayaks and fishing poles/tackle there. Very convenient bathroom/shower combo downstairs! Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We will be back! OLD Florida at its best."
