While initially disappointed that the hotel wasn’t as close to the base of the mountain as I thought, we ended up really enjoying the view and location. Our particular condo had a great view down valley and the location was convenient to Steamboat’s adorable downtown and the ski slope. We love Steamboat and can’t wait to return. (Also arguably the most lovely Catholic Church in Colorado so don’t miss Mass!)

Exceeded expectations. Amazing location with gondola access to base of the mountain that has shops and restaurants. Stayed in the spacious 2 bedroom unit with great layout. Easy check in, no rush check out. Loved our stay.

DO NOT book through Vacasa which Expedia books through. They charge for everything and will not accommodate simple requests. It was our anniversary and they could have cared less to help us out with a last minute late checkout. We now learned you can reserve directly with Trailhead and they are extremely flexible. The condo itself was nice and has great hotubs.

The property was beautiful, perfect location to the base of the mountain. The best part is the gondola is a very short few steps from the condo. Our room was clean and well equipped, the pool area and jacuzzi were beautiful and perfect after a long day snowboarding. Our only issue was the lack of support and customer service at the front desk. Upon arrival we were told the room wasn’t ready which is fine, we arrived at 2pm when check in is at 4pm so we placed our luggage behind the front desk. When we came back I asked the front desk if they could bring our bags up, on Expedia it says bell service is available but the girls at the front desk told me this was not a service they provide so I asked for a cart to which they just pointed and said over there. We stayed 4 nights so at one point I called down to ask for house keeping to which they also said they don’t offer that service. Also when going to the pool I asked the front desk for 3 towels and the girl just pointed at the cabinets behind the front desk telling me to get them myself when she was right there. Funny part is they don’t offer any sort of room refreshing during the entire stay but have a list of what you as a customer need to do to check out, strip the beds, wash them, load and start dish washer, take the trash to the chute, etc. All in all the location was amazing but for us the l lack of service and kindness we experienced from the front desk really turned us off.
