Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Located in Sheraton at the foot of the Steamboat Ski Area is the Steamboat Resort Villas. This is Steamboat’s premier ski-in/ski-out location with immediate access to Steamboat’s Gondola and the Christie Peak Express Lift. The Resort Villas have been a cornerstone of the revitalization that has taken place over the past few years at the base area and is a centerpiece along Steamboat’s Promenade that stretches from Torian Plum Plaza to One Steamboat Place. This features a year-round pedestrian walkway with snowmelt pavers in the winter and access to waterfalls and a sandy beach area along Burgess Creek during the summer months. Right next door is also Steamboat’s new permanent outdoor stage that is part of the revamped Gondola Square Plaza and will play host to public performances as well as the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series. The hotel building itself was recently converted from hotel units to timeshares, but still located on the sixth and seventh floors of this building is a small collection of condominiums that are individually owned. This specific one-bedroom, two-bath condominium is located on the sixth floor with easy elevator access, over 800 square feet of living space, and great valley views. There is also an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, and a 24-hour fitness area. This condo has an updated kitchen with slab granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and there is a separate dining area with seating for guests. The living room includes a TV, gas fireplace, and a leather couch and chair with plenty of room for your family. There is also separate ski storage in the same building located on the lower level off the elevator. There are a variety of dining options located within the hotel building (Saddles Lounge, Fish Creek Grill, Timber & Torch, and then Saddle Market) or several others located along the base area promenade. Whether you prefer an intimate dinner with your significant other at Cafe’ Diva, drinks and appetizers at Saddles, or a wood-fired pizza and beer at the Slopeside Grill with friends, your dining options are endless! If members of your family are going to be in ski school, the meeting place is also located right next to the gondola, so it is very easy to drop your kids off in the morning and enjoy some turns without the little ones in tow. Things to Know Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) We loved it except that the air conditioning didn't work the entire time we were there and it was pretty warm. Property manager did come look at it but was unable to fix it. It’s nicely decorated and feels very cozy. Great location and the Sheraton is fantastic. The unit is managed by an agency, Vacasa, and they were hard to work with. A lot of passing messages along to local staff that went nowhere. I received a link via text that stated check in instructions were inside, but the link was broken. I reached out to their customer support and they replied “what link” and then said someone would reach out the day of arrival to help. Day of arrival, I had to reach out again to the agency. The onsite staff were great and met us with the keys. The fireplace, a big draw for us, was non functional. I reached out right upon arrival to the provided agency number and after some back and forth they said someone local would call shortly. No one called. The next day I reached out again, they said they were putting in a ticket and someone would be in touch. No contact. Third time, same thing. Checking out, still haven’t heard from anyone. We were also really disappointed no one informed us there would be significant construction happening in the units around and above us. Starting at 8am, there was construction directly above us that did not stop until evening. ##### Samantha S. The communication was less than desirable. The Sheraton has great amenities. Everything was clean and well stocked. The key pickup, however, is a deal breaker. Although the listing indicates the address for key pickup, I did not realize it was over a mile away from the property. Rental cars are scarce, as is uber, so I had to take a shuttle from the airport, which dropped me at the hotel. It wasn't until then that I realized how far I had to go to get the keys. I had to walk over a mile in my airport flip-flops and 90 degree heat to get the keys. If I hadn't had a friend with me, I would have had to drag my luggage too. I can't imagine doing this in the winter. So, Although the condo is nice, I would rent somewhere else until they can figure out a better way to get the keys to you. FYI you also have to take the keys back at the end of the trip so that was a scramble on the way to the airport. ##### Alicia F. The swimming pool is a big hot tub so that is also very enjoyable after a day on the slopes!
