The breakfast snacks were outstanding and a wonderful touch that made the mornings even better. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will absolutely recommend this hotel to others. It's a 1940s-era building with all the quirks you might anticipate--smallish rooms, limited counter space, etc. However, it also has all the ambience of an inn you might find in Austria--library-like lobby, fireplace, sounds coming in from the street, etc. A handfull of larger rooms are available for familes. The water was an unexpected bonus. We were able to easily fill up water bottles and bladders before hikes without having to go buy water. We had two beds (for some reason it was cheaper than a king) so the layout was quirky but worked out fine. Very nice and friendly staff, in a great location with easy access parking. I am forgetting her name, I feel she is the senior front desk person. She provided all the features of the hotel as well as dining tips. The rooms were very nice and the beds were great.
