Welcome to The Hidden Mountainside Escape, your place to call home while visiting the beautiful Steamboat Springs! This basement level condo will offer you the privacy that you desire with two bedrooms & one bathroom. While making you feel centralized to all the activities that Steamboat has to offer, our condo is equipped with all of the essentials to make for a comfortable stay. We are conveniently located 2 miles from downtown, minutes from the mountain area, and you can access the bus route that runs all year with a stop directly out your back door (on demand in the summer, regular hours in the winter). This will grant you easy access to local highlights like Fish Creek Falls trails and Strawberry Hot Springs. Enjoy relaxing in this space after a long day skiing/boarding (or just apre'ing), along with the friendly neighborhood that offers all the charm of a small town combined with the amenities of a big city.

Great cozy property

Very convenient, cozy apartment. Quiet rooms. Very accommodating. Had everything we could have wanted. Will keep this saved for my next trip to Steamboat.

Our stay

This basement apartment is probably just fine for the winter months however our stay was during the summer and they’re only two small 18 x 18“ windows for a two bedroom apartment. It was very hot and stuffy. At night we sweated when we slept there is no AC Other than that. Everything was fine.

Steamboat weekday ski trip

Property was clean and comfortable. I’d be happy to stay here again. The bus into town was easy - just call for pick up. I drove to the free meadow lot and then took a shuttle to the ski area, no problem parking during the week.
