The Location:
Not only does this property have a true ski in ski out location, steps to the access trail, but you ski to the base on any easy green trail called “Right O Way”. Come and go as you please. Get out there early, come in for lunch and then head back out for more skiing. This is how a ski vacation is meant to be. However, there is more to the FPX Legacy Lodge location than the ski in ski out. If your group includes people who are not skiing, you can hop on the free shuttle to the heart of the base area for shopping, dining, ice skating, free concerts, and more. During ski season, there are fireworks, torchlight ski parades, and drone shows which are launched from the hill right above this property. You have a great view!

The Property:
As part of its 5 bedroom, plus den true ski in ski out location, FPX Legacy Lodge has its own private hot tub and is steps away is the Storm Meadows Amenities complex which has a heated pool, & hot tub area, a fitness center with locker rooms and saunas, a tennis/pickle court, and stunning “front row” ski area views. Parking is easy, having both a heated 2 car-attached garage and 2 more spots in the car port.

The Middle and Upper Levels:
When you enter the FPX Legacy Lodge, you'll be on the middle level, which was built for entertaining. With 2 story vaulted ceilings and huge windows framing jaw dropping views, this room is one very special place for your Apres Ski beverages and appetizers. The Great Room combines a central living area with the kitchen and dining area on one side, floor to ceiling fireplace and a large bar/kitchenette and entertainment area on the other side. Step outside onto the wraparound deck(upper and lower levels) and take in the panoramic ski area & national forest views. When the weather is nice, you can dine outside or just relax and unwind. This main level also includes a powder room and a large foyer with storage rooms for your gear.

The lodge is split into an east and west wing. In the upper west wing, you'll find the primary bedroom overlooking the Yampa Valley. Across the hall is a 2-bedroom family suite (1 King & 1 Queen +twin) with its own bathroom. This 2-bedroom suite is configured perfectly for a family with a king bedroom and a queen plus twin room across the hall. The upper level's east wing is a Den, away from the main action of the house—This space is an excellent home office with a sleeper sofa and its own bathroom.

The Lower Level:
Also split into 2 sides, another unique feature of FPX is its large rec room with ski lockers on the lower west level. Access to the slopes and hot tub is through this room. Here you can store all your ski things, dry out and warm your ski boots in the boot warmer, watch tv or play games in the living room / lounge area. A sleeper sofa, full bath and laundry room make this rec room a great place for kids to hang out, be noisy and have fun. On the east wing of the lower level, you'll find Bedrooms 4 and 5. These two bedrooms each have a Queen-size bed and deck access. Bathroom # 5 is just across the hall from them, and is quite large, with a double sink vanity, separate toilet room, and shower and bathtub.

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have. Accessing this property requires zero steps or stairs. You can walk (or roll) right into the main level. Once inside, one flight of stairs is required to reach the upper or lower levels. Reserved, private parking is provided for up to 4 vehicles. There is some additional parking available out front, on a first come first served basis. Campers and RVs are prohibited. Please contact us before booking if you will have a trailer.

** Rental Agreements, Security Deposits, Rental Requirements - All hotels and rental properties have some rules and are subject to some amount of laws or regulations. After booking, a Vacation Rental Agreement will be provided. All guests are required to sign the agreement within 72 hours of booking, and prior to occupying the property. There may be other requirements. For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents. Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law. A Minimum Age Requirement of 30 years or higher may apply. Guests may be required to provide a credit card and or a refundable security/damage deposit. ** Amenities - Some private or shared amenities may not be available for guest use during certain periods. Some amenities, when part of a property, may close daily, seasonally, or for maintenance. As such, all amenities can not be guaranteed to be available at all times. Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.

** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.
