Situated just 2 blocks from the Gondola, this beautifully appointed condo is among some of the most exquisite accommodations available in Steamboat Springs. Constructed in 2007 and recently awarded the coveted Expedia Insiders Select Choice Award, Emerald Lodge at Trappeurs Crossing offers everything you would want for an unforgettable vacation. The property was great and fit 5 adults and 3 children wonderfully. The pool is extremely close and the personal hot tub was a great touch. Unfortunately, the check in process was less than stellar. I was not contacted with any information on how to check in. We are not allowed to check in until after 4pm, but upon calling the contact number, the recording states they close at 1pm that day and we could not get ahold of anyone to let us in. VRBO also had difficulty getting ahold of someone. After about an hour, VRBO was able to contact the rental representative. The rep stated that she had emailed me the day after renting the property with all of the information (and stated this with attitude). Upon reviewing my email, junk mail, and trash, I had only received 2 emails from them with information on the rental and they provided information solely on how much I spent. We were able to check in with her verbal instructions, and then the following day (day 2 of our stay) I received an email on how I could check in. Although we loved the property, we will look to other rental companies in Steamboat Springs in the future. ##### Alexandra K.
