The location of the property is amazing, truly ski-in, ski-out. The bed layout of the rooms were a little unorthodox but still comfortably slept 8 adults. This is a typical ski condo… furnished for ruggedness and function and not for the cover of a magazine. Small drawback… standard def TV channels and a VCR (!) You can literally walk through the parking lot down the slope to get to the base. Two complaints. First, I could hear the snowcats grooming the trails from 2 am until dawn. It sounded like a beeping garbage truck was backing up beneath my window all night long. I had to find ear plugs and turn on a box fan for white noise. Second, the key pad lock on the front door broke one afternoon. Luckily, Retreatia answered our phone call and sent someone to fix it that evening, but we spent all afternoon and evening in a restaurant waiting for it to get finished. No offer to compensate us for the inconvenience from the owner or property manager either. Overall, I would not stay there again. ##### Andrew K.
