Would have been nice to have used the sound system but there were no instructions and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to explain. Also, instructions on how to cool the unit were not efficacious. Would be basic to have liquid dish soap there to wash some dishes by hand. Also, was confusing to have paid for property insurance through the listing and then upon check in finding out it is required to charge $500 for property damage as well. The condo was fabulous and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Nicely located near the base of the mountain, but it would be a short walk to the gondolas for skiing. (We stayed in summer, so that was not an issue.) Located about 2 miles from downtown SS. The pool at Bear Lodge was small but adequate. The hot tubs were not really very hot the first day, but they turned up the temperature after that and they were fine. Condo had washer/dryer, too, which was nice since we got a bit muddy and dusty from our summer activities. The only thing to note is that the front desk will also require a $500 damage deposit at check-in, so you're paying both VRBO and Trappeur's Crossing. That means that around $750 is collected for damage deposits, which is ridiculous. We fully expect to get ours back, so I'm not worried about it, but that's a little over the top. ##### Erica Z. Well located in walking distance to all mountain facilities everything is in close proximity. The Shuttle Service provided easy access to other locations with a door to door free service. The shuttle drivers provided friendly invaluable local advice making dinning decisions easy. The Bear Lodge facilities such as Spa and Sauna assisted aching bones to recover for the next day of skiing. I can not recommend Bear lodge highly enough. Perfect family holiday resort! ---
