It had amenities that were helpful like cups, glasses, saucers and silverware. The mini fridge also had a freezer and there was a toaster and microwave along with a hot water kettle which made it easy to prepare a simple breakfast. The shower was amazing! The water pressure was strong and the water very hot which was a bonus after a day’s worth of hiking. Quiet and close location to the Grampians/Halls Gap without having to be amongst the crowds. The hot water is great and water pressure also pretty good. The little heater takes quite a while to warm up the room on a cold day. The bigger old school heater/air con unit works but was just blowing out cold air, which is probably why they have installed the newer small units. The sound of the trucks in the night is quite loud but I didn't mind. I have white noise on at night for my toddler and I could still hear the trucks over it. Ample dining options within 5km of the motel. The only thing I did not like was the proximity to the main road and the noise from trucks going past. But it would appear the other motels nearby would not have been any different.
