It's an easy walk to center of Stavanger or there's a bus stop right outside the door to get you to other locations using public transport. There is a parking garage literally next door of the hotel which is convenient and a grocery store just down the street. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the main centre. Contrary to the description when we booked there is actually someone at the front desk until 11:00 pm which was great as we arrived after 9:00 pm. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant. The only complaint would be the limit on getting new fresh towels or any house keeping as it is only done on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and anything else is an additional fee. The lamps did not work. I contacted and they said they will fix it. It almost felt like being outside, as the room temperature was well below standard. When I went down and complained, the only answer was that if the green light is on then the heating is up and running! The bathroom and kitchen were amply supplied which made the stay feel like home away from home. Frogner's is not far from the center of town and within walking distance.
