Our full-time dairy farm is idyllically situated between the Chiemgau Alps and a nature reserve. The farm is adorned with many flowers and a large garden. For the children, there is a large collection of toys, as well as a nest swing, sandpit, slide, trampoline, several wooden horses, and a climbing pole... There are many bike trails leading right from the farm—either straight into the mountains or towards Lake Chiemsee. We’d be happy to provide you with bike maps so you can discover and explore the most beautiful spots in our area. Your children are welcome to visit the barn to feed or pet the calves, cows, cats, chickens, and ducks. In the evening, they can help feed the calves or collect the eggs. We have a barbecue area, a bread roll delivery service, and our own farm store with homemade delicacies such as homemade schnapps, milk, eggs, beef or venison, jam, and cheese. You’re also welcome to join us during cheese-making or schnapps distillation.<br><br> Cosy, bright holiday apartment furnished in a country house style with satellite TV. Not far from the major cities of Munich (90 km), Salzburg (50 km), and Innsbruck (115 km). Smaller towns such as Traunstein (20 km) and Rosenheim (40 km).This makes Staudach-Egerndach an ideal starting point for many excursions. Situated right at the foot of the Chiemgau Mountains, where the valley opens up towards the north and the vast expanses of the Kendlmühl Filzen, Egerndacher Filzen, and Lake Chiemsee merge. The village lies directly below the Hochgerns.Es, there are countless hiking and biking trails of all levels, as well as mountain tours through alpine pastures and up to sunny peaks.<br> Water sports are available on Lake Chiemsee or the Tiroler Ache.<br> The Achental Valley is a pioneering region for flying and offers ideal conditions for hang gliders and paragliders. The German Alpine Gliding School (DASSU) in Unterwössen offers not only classic gliding but also sightseeing flights for guests.<br> The Gehmacher Family – “Beim Heiß’n” <br> On our family farm, we have a large, cosy 4-star holiday apartment.<br> We run a grassland farm with dairy cows and our own young stock.<br> In addition to the cows and calves, we also have chickens and broiler chickens, pigs, and cats.<br> We have our own schnapps distillery, where fruit is distilled into fine brandies and liqueurs.<br> Our homemade products—schnapps, milk, eggs, meat, jams, and cheese—can be purchased at the Wilde Kuh farm store.<br> It is very popular with our guests.<br> You’re welcome to help Wasdl Jr. make cheese.
