We loved this place and it was really fun the first night when a lot of the locals were at the bar. We learned all about the lake & where to go and so on. Andrew, the GM was very friendly & we enjoyed visiting with him & learning all about how the hotel got established. Would highly recommend this hotel. Try to get the side facing the woods because there is a family of bears that you get to see. We unfortunately reserved too late so we got the room that did t have a view, but still a lot of fun & very comfortable room.

A saving grace for our room was the dark decor and dim lighting. On the plus side the sheets and towels were clean. However we found the entry door frame badly damaged as if it had been kicked in. The bathroom vanity false drawer face came off in my hand as it had already been broken and simply set in place. No toiletries. No toilet room door. Overall it was underwhelming and overpriced.
