    Other things to note
    HOME TRUTHS:
    - Signed rental agreement and proof of identity for age verification are required at the time of booking per Douglas County vacation home rental rules.
    - There is a large staircase leading from the parking lot to the entry. Once inside the home, there are stairs to access the second and third floors (3 of the 4 bedrooms are located on these floors). There is also an exterior spiral staircase that is only to be used in the event of an emergency exit.
    - Outdoor furniture may not be available in the winter months (October - May).
    - Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules.

BEARS: Visiting Lake Tahoe means you are entering into Bear Country. While fun, we need to be extra careful with food in left cars and trash left out. Bears get hungry, therefore if you have trash, ALWAYS utilize the dumpster and NEVER leave ANY food in your cars since the bears WILL break in and get it. We have bears that regularly walk through this neighborhood. Don’t leave the house unlocked when you go out and do not leave food in your car. Avoid leaving your car unlocked overnight as bears have no problem opening car door handles to take a look inside for goodies and you may wake up to bear prints on the dashboard!

Prior to arrival, the primary renter must provide license plate numbers for all cars that will be parked at Property during Guest’s stay

    Winter Weather Warning (November-April):
    * During extreme winter storms, roads into and out of the Tahoe region sometimes close. Consider buying travel insurance to protect yourself from weather emergencies.
    * Chains or 4WD/AWD are required to travel over Hwy 50 (Echo Pass) and SR 207 (Kingsbury Grade) during snowstorms.
    * Our house is in a neighborhood at the top of Kingsbury Grade, you don't get much closer to the Nevada side of Heavenly Ski Resort! Local roads and our parking area are plowed regularly, but 4WD/AWD is required during storms.
