WAY overpriced for PSU commencement weekend, horribly musty smelling room, skimpy supplies (towels, shampoo, etc.) , tiny tv, sink and bathtub drains broken, and bathroom badly needs redoing. Staff were friendly but unprofessional. .

The hotel is outdated and needs remodeling. Our room was supposed to be nonsmoking but there wasvan ash tray in it, and smelled of smoke. Staff was friendly and helpful.

o to Holiday Inn just down the road
The awning was hit by a truck over a month ago and is roped off because it hasnt been fixed. All the lights in the room didnt work. There was a loud noise when you walked over a certain spot. We were on the second floor. Lighting in bathroom very dim. My friends door didnt lock properly.

Only spent a night in this hotel but it’s clearly run down. The door to our room did not lock and the dead bolt was one shove from busting off. I also noticed some doors didn’t have complete numbers on them. I guess coming off from age.

Place was in the middle of updates. None of the amenities were open such as the pool, restaurant or breakfast. The place looked like it was ready to crumble

The entire facility was in disarray, the entrance had caution tape due to the pillars about to fall in on you. When we got to the room it smelt horribly of black mold. We immediately checked out and had to find another place to stay. The only thing that was okay was the staff was at least understanding and tried to rectify the situation.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! If you go to ADA.gov and read "Frequently Asked Questions about Service Animals and the ADA" it states:
"Q3. Are emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals considered service animals under the ADA?
A. No. These terms are used to describe animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. Because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, they do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. However, some State or local governments have laws that allow people to take emotional support animals into public places. You may check with your State and local government agencies to find out about these laws."
We do not charge a pet fee for service animals, but as an emotional support animal (or "Emotional Support Pet" as I believe that is what you meant by "ESP") does not count as a service animal according to the ADA, we do charge our regular pet fee for those. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted to join the Choice Hotels program. I said no. He tried to convince me and again I said no. Then he started asking me a bunch of information (email, etc), which should have already been on my reservation. Turns out, he was signing me up anyway. Now my business email address is flooded with unwanted Choice Hotels emails. I am not happy. No means no!

Hotel is run down and could use a complete renovation. Had to stay here on Christmas Eve and I was put in the back of the hotel where it was really dark. Room smelled like smoke and there was a stain on the bed comforter. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Our staff works very hard to ensure that all of our guests feel welcome, have a clean comfortable room and a pleasant stay. I can assure you this is not the norm for our property. Had we known there were issues with your room we would have been more than happy to correct the situation.
No heat in the 1st room. Very unclean baby sock under the table. A lot of dog hair all over the bed spread. Had to move rooms. Went to the restaurant and they only had one women working the bar and tables. Some people walked out. The food was cold and not very good.

Stayed at many high dollar motels and got lots less then this motel. No resort fees but resort like place. Even the full breakfast was a plus. don,t get that in Vegas.

I book this room back in June and wasn’t allowed to cancel. My plans changed and I didn’t need the room, I called in July to cancel and was unable to. I will not be using travelocity again

That you so much for your comments in regard to your reservation. a lot of times when you get great rates through a 3rd party website they are prepayment no cancel. If you know definitely that you are going to be staying somewhere they are a good deal but as you found out when plans change you can't change the reservation and then you are out the money. In the future if I wasn't sure I was going I would not commit to a no cancel reservation.
Hard to use the sink because it wouldn't drain, so didn't use the shower. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Breakfast was limited, only orange yogurt and no hard boiled eggs.

I am sorry to hear that you were not so impressed with Tony's Restaurant. The food and service are normally very good and it was disappointing to hear that you had a bad experience. I do however appreciate your comments for it helps us to make changes that will better serve all of our guests.
The room had foul odor from smoking and pets. Air conditioner unit could not be adjusted. Carpet needs cleaning.
Hwy 322 was very accessible.

Our off ramp was recently relocated and we are looking in to adding additional directional signage in that area to help our guests find us. It is only a 30 minute drive from our hotel to PSU. The road improvements on 322 are going to make it even faster for our guests once the construction is complete. During Football Season it's a breeze getting to and from the games and our pricing is much better that staying right in State College on home game weekends.

We stayed one night with 2 adults and 2 kids. It was comfortable and clean. The kids swam in the pool which was nice and clean. There is a gas station connected to the parking lot which was convenient. There is also an Aldi right on the corner, which was very convenient. I loved the service. We got there before check in time and because there was a room cleaned, they let us check in early. There is a Tony's restaurant in the hotel. The best pulled pork sandwich I have had in a long time and the prices were decent. The restaurant was quiet and clean.I would love to stay here again. The mountains along the skyline were so beautiful, too. :)
