"The staff told us children eat breakfast for free but failed to mention that it only applied with adults were also eating. This is poor communication and we wouldn’t have allowed the children to eat there if we’d know."

"Had a very good overnight stay at the hotel. Staff were really helpful. Didn't have any meals, so can't comment on that. The room was very clean but a bit dated (believe they are renovating the rooms bit by bit.) Hotel parking made life nice and easy. Always happy in an IHG hotel."

"The absolute worst stay I have ever had. It had already started badly with poor communication and the cleanliness but when the hairdryer set on fire it really was tipping point! Not only was the property not clean (empty co*dom wrappers in the draws, oven not cleaned, black hairs all over the floor) the shower fell down and then when I turned the hairdryer on it burst into flames. They weren't remotely interested in the danger of this and have not offered me any type of apology or compensation because 'we offered to bring another one later that day' I stay away for work weekly and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had."

"Very clean and functional house - it had everything we needed for a family stay for a wedding in the area. The beds were comfortable and clean and warm - which is so important. The area is close to everything - easy walk to a Costa and Tesco Express! The kitchen pans were very basic but everything worked and if you are not staying for ages it all works! I would recommend this house! :-) "
