This is a special place for special people--a mature, responsible, quiet, non-smoking individual or couple seeking island simplicity along with some of the modern comforts and a wide-angle, direct view of the ocean. We are not a villa or resort property; we are less grand than that. **Wi-Fi MAY be available; not guaranteed.** NO CABLE OR OTHER TELEVISION SERVICE. We offer a magnificent view, a large deck that is **partially covered ** for shade and partially open for sunbathing, a FULL kitchen for cooking, a central location (5 minutes drive to Magen's Bay, 10 minutes drive to town, 15 minutes to Red Hook) and amenities such as bedroom air conditioning (this is to cool the bedroom before sleeping; the rest of the cottage mostly relies upon ceiling fans and open doors to the outside for cooling) and use of washer and dryer.

The central island location of our cottage makes a rental car the best option for traveling to and from the property (rental cars should be booked in advance of travel, as sometimes there is high demand). **THERE ARE STAIRS DOWN TO THE UNIT**.
