Even though hurricane Erin made an appearance the staff was very assuring. I felt safe . "Everything about the Ritz was nice. The staff are the best part of resort. Friendly and eager to help out. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the bathrooms around the resort...With the exception of the bathroom at Alora, none of them are airconditioned. Without air-conditioning, it get hits real hot, and the smell isnt pleasant either. "

"Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby. "

"Our flight got cancelled at Airport and Windward Passage was there to save the day. Rooms were simple, yet clean. Staff was very caring and although the neighborhood was decent, the property was helpful. "
