Great stay, very comfortable and the staff is simply lovely
The property had lots of charm, both in the room and the surroundings, although not at all close to the town, which was hard to walk to in the extreme heat. There's very little parking for cars in St. RÉMEY. Unfortunately, we were not advised in advance that the air conditioning was broken throughout the property. The room was not comfortable, even with a fan, until late into the evening. We tried one night and then left and found another very comfortable and well located hotel.
Really nice and quiet hotel within an easy walk of the old town area of St Remy. The rooms are sized well, and the pool area is really pleasant. The owner/operator was very nice and helpful also!
Great location and very nice hotel. Pool was a huge bonus late September for a few hours of napping/reading. Added bonus hotel did our laundry fit a small fee
We stayed three nights and our stay was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was fantastic. Having a supermarket and downtown St. Remy within walking distance was super convenient. Would definitely consider staying here again the next time we come back.
Management and staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly--like family, really. The breakfasts also were excellent, and the hotel is a short walk from the old/center of town. We'd definitely stay there again.
Was very, very delayed getting there. Staff waited up for me till very late into the night. Fantastic understanding and support. Lovely hotel and all staff were grest

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
When we arrived, the guy at the front desk told us that air conditioning was not working ( it was very hot outside, about 90 F), and he didn’t know when it was going to be fixed since it was the weekend. He offered to give us a small fan. It was very uncomfortable and hot in the room. We had to leave and go find a different accommodation last minute.
I’d suggest reading the reviews for this hotel. Host

BUYER BEWARE. We booked the hotel from the road, and when we went to check in, found no one at the desk. We waited an hour along with several other travelers in an unairconditioned reception area on a 95 degree day, and finally left. We connected with Expedia, explained the situation, and were subsequently told that they also had no response to their phone calls and later reported that since our reservation was non-cancellable, there was nothing they could do. For what it's worth, I'm an Expedia Platinum user, which had no standing in resolving the matter. As a resident of France and one who travels around the country regularly, I can report that this hotel, as nice as it appeared to be, is not worth the hassle of trying to deal with arrogant, unresponsive and ethically challenged hosts, or the risk of losing one's advanced payment to them.
We arrived and waited for half an hour before we could check in, and then, after we paid on a sketchy POS terminal, the staff walked us toward the room and then only at this time does he mention that the accommodation’s air conditioning wasn’t working. It was 35 degrees Celsius! He did offer us a refund, but apparently the sketchy POS terminal couldn’t refund us, but he did give us cash back. Not sure why, we needed to wait and then pay only to be told that the a/c didn’t work.
I loved our short stay here. Our hosts were excellent and so very helpful. We arrived quite late, but there was no problem in taking us in. The room was cozy and the wifi very strong and good. I had the feeling anything we needed could be provided. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The grounds are very pretty and the pool looked good to use, though it was too chilly still in the season. The stay is very close to town center. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property, from the dining and lounge areas (both inside and outside) to the flowers and pool area.
Very nice room with a view and a table and chairs to sit outside. The bed was literally one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on.
My only suggestion would be a small refrigerator to keep your bottled water and wine cold.
It didn’t bother me that there was no coffee in the room (usually instant anyway) because the coffee at breakfast was sooo good.
And speaking of the breakfast, excellent! I would highly recommend adding on the breakfast as it will be far better than anything you’ll get in town. It was lovely to sit on the patio every morning and have a leisurely breakfast to start the day.
The owner and host, Chantel, was so nice (even loaned me her umbrella, as I arrived during a downpour). Chantel would greet everyone as if they were old friends, ask if they slept well and made you feel like you were truly a guest in her home.
How wonderful to see a business run by a strong woman who knows how to treat people people with kindness and respect.
I will absolutely stay here again!
