Sandy Shores 401 Gulf Front Corner Condo

  • 401 is a newly painted one bedroom/one bath room gulf front condo located in Sandy Shores on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Madeira Beach, Florida. The living room opens out to the private balcony which over-looks the pool area, beach and Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen is equipped with updated stainless- steel appliances. The cabinets are filled with dishes, cookware and utensils. A coffee maker and toaster are also provided. The bedroom has two queen beds, large dresser, flat screen TV and walk- in closet. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 4 guests in the condo.

    Our friendly staff will do their best to accommodate any requests or concerns you may have during your vacation. Please come and enjoy the beautiful beach and soothing warm breezes as well as the local attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and fishing charters directly across the street from our condos.

    Coin operated washers and dryers are located on each floor.

    One assigned parking spot is available for this unit.

Bring indoor and outdoor shoes. No door mats were present to knock the sand off before entering the unit. Bring beach towels. Enjoy a great view and short walk to beautiful sands and ocean.

perfect location

We loved our stay and could watch dolphins from out balcony and walked across road to Johns Pass. The carpet was not the cleanest and bathroom wasn't the cleanest either but it was a very nice place. Beach was nice also.

Great location!

Everything is in walking distance. The beach was beautiful and the view from the balcony was incredible. We saw dolphins every morning and the sunset every evening.

Beach Vacation

Location is perfect! Love the access to the beach and John's Pass restaurants, coffee shop, and shopping. Bathroom needs some TLC and perhaps more attention to cleaning in the shower and bedroom.

401 sandy shore

Absolute best view I have ever had. All of the restaurants and shops are directly across the street so we didn’t even have to drive anywhere. We hope to stay here again next year

Pros… it came with beautiful view and private balcony, and beach chairs! Also location was awesome (walkable to everything). Cons….. bed was not that comfortable, the elevator took a while, and not many towels to last 4 days ( but we managed just fine ) .

Sandy Shores is Spectacular!

Excellent experience at Sandy Shores for our first visit to Madeira Beach! Walk right out to the beach without a long hike through sand dunes. Relax at the pool. Security measures ensure peace of mind.

Nice place to stay

Really enjoyed the location and the view. The cleanliness of the place was not good. I don't mind carpet but it was so dirty I didn't feel comfortable walking on it barefooted.

Great location and view!

Overall we would definitely stay here again! Great view, we even saw dolphins each morning :). The only complaints would be the elevator being so slow and the right side to the sink wasn’t working right. The bathroom needs updated. We will visit again though thank you for a great experience!

Gulf Condo

The view of the gulf from our balcony was top rate . We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony ,sitting poolside,walking up and down beach. The area was alot of fun .Many restaurants and bars to enjoy. Definitely more causual Tenents all seemed friendly. The condo itself could use some upkeep .

Location!

The property has a great location. Outside of going to Publix once, we did not move our rental car. Nice/safe crossing to John's Pass and the bridge to Treasure Island. The view from the patio is great. Easy beach/pool access. Unit could use some updating, but the overall convenience to everything outweighs any concerns. We will consider it again in future years.

Family beach vaca after Disney

Convenience was key and this condo hit the spot! It was spacious and we loved the view from the balcony. The beds however were not comfortable, and the ceiling in the bathroom leaked and partially fell down onto toilet (I reported to maintenance line). There was a towel on the blinds in the bedroom when we arrived (we assume to help with light from sunrise?). Overall, we loved the stay though and left our remaining supplies for the next guest - paper plates, trash bags, toilet paper, bottled water, Kleenex, and solo cups!

Nice to get away

Elevator was too slow. Everything else was good. I did find a friend with 6 legs inder the sink.......he is under the colander under the sink.......i hope....nice to cook instead of eating out. The screen door came offon the 1st night.

Tired accommodations

The view from balcony is great and pool is clean. The unit is old and is in need of a renovation. The ceiling in living room and bathroom are peeling. The refrigerator freezer handle is loose and there is a hole in ceiling by doorway. The furniture is musty and old. The rugs are gross and stained. The bathroom should be gutted and redone. Our reservation was a mess and although we got the correct unit, all the codes we received were for the wrong unit. The elevator is sketchy and the three different codes for the various gates are annoying. Would not return which is a shame because the location was great.

Perfect location!

This is a great place to stay. It has the perfect location! The pool was right there along with the beautiful beach. Only steps away from the condo. On the balcony, you can enjoy watching the dolphins swim and the boats passing through. On the beach, the water is very clear and the sand is so soft. Also, Johns Pass boardwalk is right across the street, within walking distance. No need to drive to breakfast , lunch or dinner, as the boardwalk has restaurants and shopping! As for the condo, I would highly recommend that they take out the old carpet and replace it with new flooring. Also, the bathroom could use some help. A new shower curtain rod and shower curtain would really add some beauty to this condo. Overall, the condo was clean. The elevator was broken when we arrived, so we had to take a bunch of steps up and down since we are on the 4th floor. They had the elevator fixed by the time we left-a few days later. I figured a little exercise never hurt anyone. I would love to come back for another beach vacation getaway here.

Amazing location…But…

So, much like some of the other reviews mentioned, the carpet is utterly filthy. It really wouldn’t take much to replace it with hard flooring. And like others have said, the cold water faucet handle in the bathroom that falls off is an easy fix for any handy man. Just fix it. I saw a review that mentioned a roach underneath the kitchen sink in the cabinet, which was Still there when I got there so I took the 10 seconds to actually throw it out. Besides the carpet and the bathroom faucet, neither of which takes away from the amazing location, the condo was as described. The balcony has an amazing view over the pool and the Gulf as well as the convenience of everything in walking distance. There are beach chairs in the condo to use. Since they say you can’t take the bath towels to the pool or beach, they should supply beach towels. People don’t wanna take space in their carry-on luggage to try to take beach towels back-and-forth when they could just supply some in the condo.
