But... The apartment was almost perfect. Everything was there, from a fully equipped kitchen to a vacuum cleaner and iron and even beach towels. The location is also perfect. Honeymoon Beach is just a few minutes away. Publix and Walgreens are only two minutes away. What is unusual for us Germans, however, is the construction of the houses. The walls are made of "paper." This means that when guests are busy in the other apartments, you can hear every single word and movement. We even heard the snoring of a guest next door. Unfortunately, the traffic on Alt 19 is also noticeably audible. What was most annoying, however, was the AC unit in the middle of the apartment! Unit is well stocked and clean. Great location, in a residential area directly across from Pinellas Trail. Convenient to Honeymoon & Caladesi Islands, and downtown Dunedin is a short ride away. Bike rental, restaurants and groceries within a mile. Walked along Pinellas Trail out onto Dunedin Causeway each morning and saw dolphins and shore birds.
