Direct Gulf front, 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the very popular Sand Castle III building. Both the master bedroom and living room have access to the beachfront balcony. The master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The newly remodeled master bathroom has a step-in shower. The second bedroom has a double and twin bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The second and third bedrooms have views of the Intracoastal Waterway, beautiful sunrises daily. The hallway bathroom has a tub with shower. The living room offers a flat-screen TV, DVD, and amazing view of the beach. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing a family meal with all the comforts of home. Family game night around the dining table is the perfect way to end the day in the sun. This condo was perfect for a group of five friends. There was plenty of room and it was decorated nicely with updated features. Elevators in the building were fast and it was only a short walk to the beautiful beach. Also, plenty of good restaurants close by. Would definitely come back again!
Could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family vacation. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Property was clean and well maintained.

Great vacation week
Pros - reserved covered parking space, heated pool, easy walk to beach, clean, comfy beds, beach chairs and cooler provided, easy check in/check out
Cons - no TVs in two bedrooms, bathrooms need updated
Bottom line - we had a great vacation at this condo.
Great place to stay with wonderful surroundings. The apartment is comfortable and the view is outstanding, especially when the Dolphins come and say hello not far away. The apartment would need a little touch of modernizing.
A good condo that met our needs. Located on a very family friendly section of beach so, if you have young kids it’s great. If you’re looking for a more adults-only type beach, this is not the place.
This property has an excellent view and location. There were enough beds for the 6 of us to sleep in, but the twin beds were a bit rickety for a 20yo and for some reason the box spring of the double bed was upside down and our son tried to sleep on it for 2 nights before we discovered the problem. The sink of the master bath drained very slowly and the master bedroom didn't lock. We called and the repairman came right away and fixed all these issues.
We had rented a large SUV to fit our whole family and it was impossible to park in our assigned spot under the building, but thankfully the parking lot in the front of the building usually had a spot available.
The restaurant across the street, Caddy's, was delicious and had live music every night (that stopped at 9pm, so it wasn't disruptive to kids' bedtime either).

Avoid until several items are adressed
Toaster requires constant pressure on the lever in order to heat up. $20 replacement is too much to ask, I suppose.
Pesky thermostat kept resetting to 82 degrees, incomprehensible in summer Florida heat.
Check in procedure was ridiculous. The blinds were opened and so we realized at 2 PM that the room was ready; however, the lockbox code inconceivably was not activated until 3:45 PM.
Wi-fi the was extremely weak, we gave up trying after 2 days. Many units in the structure had their own private wi-fi, unfortunately this unit does not, so plan on relying exclusively on cellular data.
All in all, this place has potential, a nice location, uncrowded beach, fine pool. But it woefully lacks basic and expected (and trivially fixable) amenities.

I want to give a raving review.......Photos are precise. The beach access and view is exceptional!! The dining room table was large, we played games at night.
We bought and donated a few kitchen supplies that were needed. The parking lot rules were “Strongly Emphasized” to us. “Two cars were permitted; one assigned spot, one non-assigned spot. A non-renter/guest would be towed immediately for parking in an assigned and/or non-assigned spot (basically no non-renting guests are allowed to park in parking lot).
The 4th of July 2020 we left our non-assigned parking spot to pick up friends, came back to find the parking lot was FULL. The non-assigned spot we had left was now occupied by a non-renter. We spoke with two security guards (one male, one female). We were advised they were there to keep non-renters from parking in the lot!!! Really???
We advised the security guards our parking spot was occupied by a vehicle from a different town/condo/renter, we observed and pointed out their parking pass) The female security guard said she would “TRY” to locate the owner of the vehicle and “tried” to contact management. We parked somewhere we were not supposed to park, hoping we did not get towed. The male security guard said we are “TRYING” to have the vehicle towed. What happened with “immediate towing”??? We were given a multitude of excuses!! After fireworks it took three hours for all the parking violators to leave! We watched each driver leave from different condo suites. Integrity, accountability and honesty are a big deal to our family. Had we or our friends pulled that stunt our vehciles would have been towed immediately by what we were told!! We also heard some of the parking violators were friends of the owners or managers. Rules apply to everyone, that’s integrity!! We called the office ourselves three times and explained there was a situation with parking. The lady on the other end either didn’t understand us (communication barrier) or she was feigning ignorance. We left our name and number each time, requesting a call back, as the parking situation continued the entire week. The so called “security guards” were not towing cars. The male guard was creepy staring everyone up and down. We probably wont be allowed to stay here again because of our review but its okay. We were able to walk to several shops and eateries.
We had such a wonderful week at Sandcastle 3! The entire building seems to be 3 bedroom units, so we met a lot of wonderful families and my kids made a lot of friends.
The beach was perfect! Nice and wide open, plenty of room to social distance.
The pool area was great for our kids, and though the pool is small, it never felt too crowded.
The unit really satisfied all of our needs, with a large dining room table, table in the porch, 3 bedrooms etc.
Our only complaint was the master king was terrible. The mattress is rock hard. We barely slept all week, which makes for a long week. I wouldn’t stay in this particular unit again, unless the master mattress was updated.
Otherwise- it was a great week!
Beautiful condo in a great spot on the beaches of Indian Shores. My family had a wonderful time there this summer!

Fijn appartement met zeezicht
De ligging was fantastisch, de woning wat gedateerd en een aantal dingen waren kapot. Dat hebben we al doorgegeven aan het bureau ter oplaatse. Verstopte shredder die ook een verstopte afwasmachine . veroorzaakte werd wel direct gerepareerd. Prettig om met een code binnen te kunnen komen, zo kunnen alle huurders er altijd in en hoef je geen sleutel of kaartje mee te nemen.
We hebben genoten van het mooie uitzicht!
