Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
I cannot recommend staying at this property. This was the worst check-in experience I've ever had in all my travels!) I will highlight the pros and cons here. Pros: 1. The location was the best part of this cottage. Very easy access to the beach and walkable to all the local restaurants. 2. Was well stocked with paper products and soap. 3. The dock was nice to sit on and watch the sun rise. Cons: 1. The bed was absolutely filthy upon arrival! To my horror, when I pulled back the covers there was human hair everywhere, dog fur, pubic hair and a spider! I immediately called the company and they told me to go to the laundry room and get a new set of sheets in the tubs. I had no choice but to try this if I wanted different sheets. Because it was late, they weren't going to send anyone out to help me. I did as they requested and when I pulled off the sheets there were crumbs and/or dead tiny bugs on the mattress pad that I could not remove by myself. 2. The washer doesn't work. Pods don't dissolve. I'm not sure how the sheets get clean there with a washer that isn't properly working. (They wash the sheets in this washer). Think about that. When I inquired about the washing machine, the person I spoke with said "Yeah, our washing machine doesn't work that great". I ended up having to go to a laundry mat and wash myself. 3. The place wreaked of Odo Ban. Was nauseating. 4. The patio furniture was cheap plastic. Very uncomfortable.

Great location! Beautiful area with a 3 minute walk to the beach. Check in was good. There was a little confusion on which unit but the host answered and was able to get it taken care of right away. The space was clean and comfortable. The back area on the water was amazing. I’d definitely stay again.

Property was not clean upon arrival. Issue was not handled in a timely manner/at all. Things listed close by are not accurate at all. Dock is nice if other 3/4 rentals are not occupied. Would not stay again.

The property was great. It had a wonderful view of the water to the intercoastal. The communication with the property was terrific. They were helpful and always responded right away if I had a question. The property looked recently updated. It was cute and quaint and so much better than your standard hotel room. It was like a tiny condo. A few things maybe could have been improved but were no means a deal breaker. There was no bar or liquid soap in the shower but had hand soap on the vanity. I wish there was a place to put my luggage so I didn't have to keep bending down on the floor. Maybe a stand for it. The vinyl shower curtain worked as a liner and a curtain but could have used a liner in addition to it as water kept getting on the floor and if you put it inside the tub it stuck to you when it got wet. Also the white towels looked a bit dingy. All hotels seem to use white towels and get a bit dingy maybe using a darker color you wouldn't see the stains. I would definitely stay there again though. I liked the location. It was quick walk to the beach, nature preserve where we saw manatees in the intercoastal, ice cream shop where my husband I had the best homemade key lime ice cream and close to restaurants. I would suggest giving this cute place a try!
