We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog and meeting lots of people along the way. The Tuesday market was a hit. Clam Bayou had fantastic kayaking and Gulfport Beach was within walking distance. We rode our bikes on the Pinellas bike path and drove to Ft Desoto Park (15-20 min) for road and Mt biking. Alafia State Park (abt 1 hr drive) has some of the best Mt biking in Florida. We got in many days of windsurfing and visited relatives on Sunset Beach. Watched the Treasure Island boat parade and helped light luminaries on Sunset Beach. Even got to visit the Dalí Museum. My kind of relaxing vacation😄 The owners were always available and quick to respond to any problems. ##### Pam C. I’ve always wanted to stay in Gulfport and this place is terrific. 10 minutes’ walk from everything the neighborhood has to offer, off-street parking, and quiet except for the local bus, which goes right down this street a few times a day. The cottage is nicely decorated with a mellow old Florida vibe—no greige or leather couches to make you feel cold and sad. It’s spic and span and the kitchen has nearly everything you need to prepare basic meals. If you’re a serious cook and looking forward to seafood feasts, you might need a few items (like a large pot for boiling) but otherwise everything you need is here. My host was easy to reach and incredibly accommodating, even as we approached the holiday weekend. Very happy to be here, and will definitely look this property up for my next visit. ##### Tracy P.
