This elegant 1-BR lower unit is perfectly situated for guests seeking comfortable and spacious housing. It can accommodate up to 2 guests, making it ideal for couples or solo travelers. This might be fine for some people, but for a 70-year-old and a 78 year-old getting your luggage to the unit using either of these methods is not ideal. I didn’t see this in the listing (picture showed the front of the house) or I would not have booked it. David was very nice and offered to come over to carry our luggage up and down, but when I asked for a refund because I had bought cancellation insurance, I was told that it was a business. Will never buy cancellation insurance again. I was shocked to come back that night to find there were no lights over the stairs outside! It was pitch black, you couldn’t see your hand in front of you. Thank goodness for the flashlight on my phone. I’m not even sure how this would pass a safety inspection? The unit itself was clean and well stocked. I don’t want to sound like a complaining customer and it has taken me 3 weeks to write this, but I felt potential renters should be warned. Especially an older person or someone with health issues or disability.
