"This is an excellent location, about a 10 minute walk to the east gate of Belair National Park which is a great attraction. We saw great birds and wildlife there and there is a nice dirt path that takes you right to the gate without having to walk on the roads. There are a lot of homes nearby but it is a quiet neighborhood. We had laughing kookaburras right outside our window at dawn and dusk which was fun. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. "Overnight stay was excellent - we used as a jump off point to Monarto Zoo which is 30 minutes drive. Strathalbyn is a beautiful town. Victoria Hotel is perfectly placed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. We had our son and booked a room for 3. Often places don't prepare the spare bed but these guys were organised and did prepare the extra bed which was greatly appreciated. Staff were friendly at check in and out."
