Great place! Great location and great views!! Clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. The kitchen is top notch with EVERYTHING you need to prepare a meal. We love to cook and we were very impressed!! Lots of towels and hangers too. It’s the attention to the little things that matter. Felt like home!! Will definitely return!
Visited Slt St Marie for boat tour of the Soo Locks.
Loved Harbor Springs for shopping and beach.
Traveled to Traverse City on a rainy day for shopping and sightseeing.
Went to Petosky and lunched at the famous Leggs restaurant.
The condo was wonderful: clean, funtional and decorated nicely. Good view of the lake. You can sit near the shoreline but it would be difficult to swim right out the door of the condo. Great beaches all around.
This property was great on the inside- clean and well maintained, nice bedrooms and a spacious bathroom and kitchen. There was plenty of seating as well. I do think the photos of the outside are a little misleading- there is a lot of trash around the property, and the beach that it is on is a lot of tall weeds and rocks. My kids enjoyed throwing stones in the water from the shore, and the view from inside was nice, but I would not plan to spend much time out there. We also experienced the flies that many other reviews commented on (we were there the last week of June), but that obviously can't be helped, and was not a huge issue. Communication from the property owners was great, and St. Ignace overall was a nice spot to vacation. Overall, I would recommend, it worked well for what we needed!
Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint.
The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere, not just on this property. Mother nature doing it's thing at the time of our stay. The other downside was the construction extremely close, next to us. There is a large hotel complex being built. Heavy equipment ran from sun up to sun down.
Overall, a nice visit!

Not impressed
Check in was very easy. When I entered the first bedroom the bed was not made. The second bedroom was fine. I found dirty linens (the bed linens from the first bedroom) on the floor in front of the washer. There was used soap left in the shower. The manager was notified and I did not get any feedback about this. Also beware there is no AC in this unit (there was a portable unit in the second bedroom), it did get pretty hot at night in the first bedroom. There is still construction going on for a hotel next door to condo, the listing said that would be completed by May 2024 (I know this is not the property managers fault). A heads up would have been appreciated. The morning of 7/2 I received a text from the property manager stating that the asphalt in front of our condo. She stated we may need “cars shifted around at some point”. The machinery was very close to the condo, very loud which was frustrating having a toddler who needed to nap in the afternoon. The next day half the parking lot was torn up. The rest of the trip we had to walk down a narrow sidewalk (because of the chairs on the sidewalk). I did tell the manager and we were told to park on the “gravel area that has already been taken out”. This would not have worked because there were several large, sharp rocks in that area. No one reached out to apologize for the inconvenience except for the woman from the manager office and there was no good solution given.
This is a hidden gem. The accommodations were exactly as listed and very clean. Nice centralized location that offers quick access to sites and dining. At first glance, o e might be worried about noise due to large hotel next door but the location was extremely quiet. And the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
The location was convenient, and the condo had beautiful views. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The living room was spacious and there were temperature controls in each of the bedrooms which was really nice. The only thing I would like to see to enhance any future stay would be a larger garbage can in the kitchen.
Excellent accommodations! Great home base for tons of day trips, and lots to do right there in St Ignace too, including the ferries to Mackinac Island. Location was clean and bright, and had excellent kitchen tools and appliances. I had everything needed to cook several meals!
We enjoyed our stay at Island’s view. The condo was very well equipped with everything necessary for visit. The unit was beautifully decorated and clean. One of our favorites was the little porch facing the lake, which was very close to the lake. I definitely recommend Island View.
My wife and I came up for along weekend to celebrate our 40th wedding aniversary. We could not have been happier. We were a little concerned about being at the end of a business building and next to a new hotel, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable and we always had our aprking spot. VERY NICE, just like the puctures!
The condo was clean and quiet. It was very nice with up to date appliances. The kitchen was stocked with all the baking and cooking needs.(pots and pans)The TV was easy to use, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. There were a few minor issues: no dishwasher detergent, under the beds were really dusty and gross (I dropped my earbuds) and had to retrieve them under the bed.. we also killed 3 big spiders.. overall the stay was fantastic and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Weekend Anniversary Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach is not sandy. More rocky. Having Lake Huron out our door was very nice.
The house itself was maintained and great. It had everything and it was home away from home. The outside on the other hand, was pretty trashed due to the construction right next door. We spent an hour with trash bags on the beach before we could even enjoy it.
It was close to all the great spots and even close enough for a morning trip to Lake Superior.
The unit was fine, just not as fresh and clean as we would prefer. Quite dated which does not show on the photos.

Nice view and parking, but not what I was expecting for the money. Location is awkward, lots of things falling apart, spiders and may flies everywhere, smelled like sewage a few different days. Beds had one sheet but then notes asked not to use extra bedding to help save on laundry but had no other choice. Just cheaply put together. Was a good place to sleep, do laundry, and eat, but other than that, there was nothing luxury about it.
The location was wonderful. The communication was also wonderful. We honestly weren't there long enough to make use of the kitchen. We didn't experience any of the noise that other reviews had commented about. Our biggest issue was cleanliness. At first glance- we thought the condo was clean. Then we started discovering the spiders everywhere. Huge ones, small ones. Spider webs also everywhere that we didn't see until the sun hit them. The room closest to the door was by far the worst. There were also little tiny bugs we couldn't identify. Unfortunately it was not a comfortable stay for this reason. I wish it were different.
The rental unit was great, just as advertised. Clean and perfect for our needs. Only negative was the construction going on next door. The workers continually parked their work trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment in the spots for the rental unit and on the grass, even after I spoke with them about it.
Overall, we had a good stay. Supplies, such as toilet paper and garbage bags were insufficient for a weekend with four adults and a baby. (garbage can was very small; only one bag for the garbage can. Only one roll of toilet paper. ) I also left my Kindle and they are claiming it cannot be found. I know where it was left and I advised them where it was left; however, they continue to tell me they cannot find it. I am very disappointed that someone would keep my Kindle and not return it. I did offer to pay for the postage to have it returned.
The condo is located in a newer strip mall it looks like, that they have made into condo's. The location is great but the beach was jagged rocks! No sand that i could see. There is a new hotel right nextdoor so constant traffic from people parking and the smell of sewage i believe. There is a drain of somekind from the parking lot to the beach that some nasty smelling water was coming out of and draining into the lake. The condo was very nice tho. No air condition but not needed really. Nice breeze from the lake the whole time we were thers. The bedroom that we slept in had a comfy mattress. I slept well and thats saying something. Overall the place was nice and location was great. You can see Mackinaw Island very well from the deck or even sitting in the living room. But if your coming to hang out on a sandy beach this is not the one for you.
