"Loved the beach, it’s like a private cove - we really enjoyed the rooms as well, clean and spacious. Our favorite part of the island, we decided to stay 2 more days. "Historical building, so no elevators. If staying in an ocean view room (like the Turtle room) you have to carry your luggage up very narrow, rickety stairs. There is a bar downstairs that plays EXTREMELY loud music until 2 am. Room itself is nicely decorated and pretty clean. Bed is very soft and comfortable. Resident cat, Vic, is adorable but shy. "

"Very nice and modern apartment. The owner was friendly and very nice. I mainly spent time in the apartment to wind down and sleep as I am from the island. Very central to my family and friends in the surrounding area. I would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone without hesitation. If you are not local to STX, Ms. Carmen will not hesitate to provide recommendations on places to see and experience. PS: The kitchen is fully stocked and Ms. Carmen has the best avocados on the property. YUMMY! "
