As seen on TV! Luxurious Beach Front Cottage with Hot Tub, Log Burner & Sea Views
Harbour Lights is a truly unique luxury retreat overlooking the historic harbour village of Charlestown, one of Cornwall's most picturesque and sought-after coastal destinations. Featured on Channel 4's George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, this remarkable property combines stunning architecture, exceptional comfort and breathtaking sea views to create an unforgettable escape for couples, families and their four-legged companions.
Step inside and discover a beautifully designed open-plan living space, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the ever-changing views across the harbour and sea. The cosy log-burning stove creates the perfect setting for relaxed evenings together, whether you're enjoying a family meal, curling up with a book, or simply watching the boats drift in and out of the harbour.
Outside, Harbour Lights truly comes into its own. The beautifully landscaped gardens have been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the spectacular setting, offering multiple places to sit, relax and soak up the coastal atmosphere. After a day spent exploring Cornwall's beaches and coastal paths, rinse off under the outdoor slate shower before slipping into your private hot tub with a glass of wine and watching the sun set over the water.
For those who love outdoor dining, Harbour Lights features a premium Big Green Egg barbecue, allowing you to enjoy everything from leisurely breakfasts in the sunshine to long summer evenings cooking fresh local seafood while admiring the harbour views.
Harbour Lights is also wonderfully dog-friendly. The property benefits from a secure enclosed patio area, allowing dogs to safely enjoy the outdoors while you relax. In addition, there is a larger garden opposite the South West Coast Path, providing plenty of extra space to stretch their legs and enjoy the sea air. While this additional garden is not fully enclosed, it offers a lovely spot to sit and take in the views, and gives direct access to some of Cornwall's most spectacular coastal walks.
The luxurious master suite is a destination in itself. Wake up to sea views and enjoy a soak in the beautiful freestanding bath positioned at the foot of the bed, perfectly placed to take in the stunning coastal scenery. Sumptuous furnishings, high-quality linens and thoughtful touches throughout ensure a restful and indulgent stay.
When you fancy a quiet evening indoors, you'll find satellite television, complimentary WiFi, a Sonos sound system and comfortable seating areas designed for relaxation. Whether your idea of a perfect holiday is listening to music, watching a favourite film or simply enjoying the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings, Harbour Lights provides the perfect setting.
Perfectly positioned on Cornwall's south coast, Harbour Lights is also ideally located for exploring some of the county's most famous attractions. The world-renowned The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short drive away, with their enchanting gardens, woodland walks and historic estate. Equally close is the iconic Eden Project, home to its spectacular biomes, beautiful gardens and year-round events. Combined with the beaches, harbour towns and coastal paths nearby, you'll be spoilt for choice when planning days out.
Located within walking distance of Charlestown's charming harbour, restaurants, cafés and coastal paths, and within easy reach of Cornwall's finest beaches and attractions, Harbour Lights offers the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation.

We loved the interior, but it was the amazing view that really won us over. A fantastic few days
Wonderful interior, stunning bedroom and beautiful gardens. The views are just amazing. We also loved Charlestown. Lots to do, places to eat and lovely walks
Amazing property and views. Lucky with weather too. Only comment is that though it is listed as two bedrooms, second bedroom not suitable for two adults.
We booked this house for our family of 4 (and 2 small dogs) knowing that it was on the smaller side, but it looked too nice to miss out on, and I'm so glad we did!
The house itself is small/compact but it is perfectly formed, with great attention to detail. The location is perfect, and the views are to die for! The garden is gorgeous and was perfect for our dogs, and the hot tub went down a storm with our daughters. It was a very relaxing place to stay, and we will definitely be back!
Everything about our stay was fabulous. The house is very well appointed with everything you need and very luxurious. We visited in January and were very lucky with the weather, but it would have been fine otherwise with the hot tub and log fire. Brilliant location - Charlestown is so peaceful and beautiful but very close to pubs, restaurants and shops and the bigger supermarkets in St Austel if you need them. Hope to be back.
Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour.
Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical!
Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good).
Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west over to Duporth Beach was our favourite!
Charlotte’s property is one not to be missed! Waking up each morning with the sun glistening down over the sea, hearing the waves crashing against the shore was incredible! A much needed break from real life. We stayed with our children (age 4 and 7) and found the property plenty big enough. Charlestown is gorgeous and Harbour Lights has everything on it’s doorstep.
Thanks for having us Charlotte! We’ll be back again! :-)

Harbour Lights is a little gem, located directly above the shoreline and has been decorated with love & care. A tranquil location in Charlestown which is gifted with many fine eating & drinking establishments. Just park up the car and relax!
A relaxing holiday in a stunning location with amazing views and beautiful accommodation.
Harbour Lights is a cosy and comfortable retreat with the added bonus of a hot tub and stunning views of the sea. The accommodation is perfect for 2 and located at the start of the coastal path. The harbour at Charlestown is picturesque and there are lovely places to enjoy a meal or coffee. Booking was really easy and we felt very at home during our stay and appreciated the welcome treats. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
Harbour Lights was the perfect place for us to spend our mini moon and chill out and recharge after our wedding on 29th December.
5 star accommodation, great location over looking the sea, everything we could've wished for and more.
From seeing the sunrise and sunsets over the sea, to stargazing in the hot tub drinking champagne on a cold January evening, watching cormorants and gannets diving for fish and even the odd seal, and the little touches of scones, cakes, jam and clotted cream to welcome us.
Charlestown is a lovely place to unwind with a great selection of place to eat out. We chose the Pier House Hotel and The Boat House, lovely food in both.
Finally I would like to thank Charlotte for organising the surprise champagne, flowers and chocolates for Julia, they were very much appreciated and enjoyed.
We will come back and stay again and relive a special time for us.
The property was even better than the online description. It is in a perfect location and Charlestown has a good selection of restaurants and pubs/bars for such a small place.
Stunning Property in a unique and beautiful location
We had two nights at Harbour Lights and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The location is stunning with beautiful sea views, you can lay in bed or in the bath and hear the serene sound of waves crashing. The facilities are perfect with a BBQ there for your use, full sky package, and speaker system throughout the whole house, so you can listen to music whilst soaking in the hot tub.
Charlestown is a perfect little village to explore, I would recommend Springtide, the new seafood restaurant which has just opened.
We had a brilliant stay and the perfect setting for a birthday celebration.
Brilliant stay loads to do in neighbouring beach’s just short walks away, lots of nice pubs for food and drink on harbour. Just an all round pleasant place with a nice relaxed room with hot tub.
My Husband and I had a night here, to end my 40th birthday celebrations, this place was the icing on the cake, we loved everything about it!
We didn't want to leave, the attention to detail, and the welcome gifts were lovely, we just wish we had longer there. Many thanks Andy and Terri 🤗
We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at beautiful Harbour Lights. It has the best location in Charlestown with views of the harbour and out to sea.
It is stylish and cosy with all you need and more for a great holiday.
The beach is moments away and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk.
We will be back.
We had an amazing time at Harbour Lights. Charlestown is such a pretty little town with lots of great places to eat and drink. The property was stunning, beautifully decorated with lots of character and attention to detail. We loved the views from the patio and waking up every morning to see the sea was amazing. Overall it was a brilliant experience and we can't wait to come back.
A very relaxing stay for Christmas, with beautiful views and everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Would gladly recommend to friends and family.
This is a very special property and location. The facilities are superb and the 'decor' is just lovely. The attention to detail in the house was sensational. We had a superb stay and have booked again - twice!
We only had one night at Harbour Lights but it was spectacular. Lovely touches on arrival, we got straight into the scones and the champagne not long after! Dinner then a stroll to the pub, and back to enjoy the hot tub with clear skies and shooting stars. We hopped into the bubble bath before finally curling up in front of the fire and a film - fair to say we made the most of it! Incredibly comfy bed too and very wide - I almost got lost trying to get out 😂
I think Harbour Lights is absolutely stunning - the location, the attention to detail of the interior and the views to die for.
We had one small problem which was quickly rectified.
If you have a special occasion to celebrate then this is the place to stay.
