Great stay!

Loved staying here. The pool was clean, house was spacious. Would definitely stay here again. The only issue was internet had issues, but they were very communicative and fast in fixing this issue.

Wonderful house, great location.

We stayed for a week with our dogs and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and fully stocked, the pool was wonderful and the dogs enjoyed the big back yard! It was close to everything we wanted to explore (the old city, beaches, activities) and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much for letting us rent your beautiful home!

Awesome place

Had an amazing time. Beautiful place perfect for a family. Heated pool and a big patio for bonfire!! Kids had an amazing time roasting marshmallows. Not far from downtown.

Amazing Home

Definitely did not disappoint. We had a great vacation at Gathering Shore. Our host was wonderful and very helpful in giving suggestions on things to do and places to eat. This was our first trip to St. Augustine and we will be back and stay at Gathering Shore’s again.

Great place, Great location

Property was clean on arrival. Pool was nice in a fully fenced in backyard. 4 adults and 5 children age 8-14 stayed comfortably for a week. Property is close to boat docks on the Matanzas river, old town St. Augustine, and the beaches. I would definitely stay at gathering shores again if in the St. Augustine area.

Life celebration

My buddy survived cancer and he chose a guys trip to visit a different buddy in St Augustine. This place had everything we needed, was a casual space, and we all felt comfortable. It was a great week. It’s close to everything.

nice little home for fam vacay

the property was good for our family vacation. the only thing that I think should be specified is that the pool does not have steps to get in, only two ladders which made it a bit hard to get in the pool with my little ones. Unfortunately the renter before us decided to throw some dog food in the back lawn so we were not able to let my pups run in the yard freely but other than that the stay was great and everyone had a great time

Wonderful trip

The house is conveniently located to great shopping. It is a little ways from the beach but we did not intend on going to the beach during this trip. The home has everything you need in the kitchen to cook. The pool area is nice. The kids enjoyed it. The beds were comfy. The kitchen and living room are spacious and offer plenty of room for large families.

Nice, clean property with plenty of starter supplies. Good for families. Fenced in yard with private pool. Wifi wasn't working but they sent property manager right over to fix it.

Great Getaway

We had all of our adult children and our furry child with us...it was a very homey and comfortable experience. We definitely had everything we needed. The discount tickets for experiences around town was wonderful! Our only issue was that the house was on a fairly busy road with no sidewalks which made it difficult to walk the dog. We just took him a block over, and we were away from the traffic. Great experience!

Comfortable getaway

The house felt very home-like. I over packed out of worry that I wouldn't have something that I needed. It wasn't necessary. The grill in the pictures has been updated with a larger 4 burner grill. Plenty of dishware. Lots of towels. My only complaint is that I wished there were bigger pans for the stove and sharper knives, albeit, it was hardly any hindrance. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed that it was heated. Plenty of space in the kitchen and living room. There are a few parks just down Shore Drive to look at the river and wildlife. It was a short drive to the beach. If I come back to Saint Augustine, I will definitely book this house again.

Nice house with great heated pool

Spacious home with great heated pool close to everything. Had a few small things that could be improved easily. But overall a great home with lots of beds. My bed had a memory foam mattress and was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Laundry room was right in the home. Lovely sunroom with a table and chair was great for dining.

Exceptional Service

I rented a house for my family for vacation in Florida. The service was exceptional. The team sent a text that I could just reply to if I needed anything. Answers were immediate. The house was very clean with extra linens and the free tickets to explore the area were great. I will definitely rent from iTrip again!

Family get-together

The home was neat and clean. Plenty of towels for bathing. Bunk beds were not comfortable. A queen bed was in master bedroom but could easily accommodate a king bed. The dryer operates at a very loud volume. Swimming pool was clean. Lounge chairs for pool area would be nice to have available. Owners were accommodating to early check-in.

Not what we expected

Had trouble with internet service first 3 days and had to drive several miles to beach versus what we are use to doing on other beach vacations. Grass wasn’t cut until last day we was there so it was rather high while we was there first 4-5 days. Just didn’t get the beach vibe from staying here but was very roomy and nice to have a pool to ourselves!

Fun Family Getaway in St. Augustine

Our family made the most of our vacation in St. Augustine. The location was convenient for our stay, and the neighborhood was very nice. We were a short drive from all of our local adventures and grocery shopping. The check-in process was easy and the host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool as the weather was a little chillier than forecasted. I was disappointed in the accuracy of the listing, therefore only a 3 star rating. This house is not 5 bedrooms (only 4) and the walls are mostly a dull gray color. The listing shows different colors than the walls are actually painted. The other issue we encountered was the cleanliness of the dishes and utensils. We washed everything by hand before using it as the dishes and utensils did not appear to be clean. The dishwasher could be the culprit; we ran it once and the dishwasher pod never even opened. All in all, we made lots of memories here but there is definitely room for improvement.

Overall good stay

I stayed recently with family and had a wonderful time. Very close to historic St. Augustine, shopping, restaurants, and the beaches. The actual area that the neighborhood was in looked a little rough around the edges but we had no problems and felt safe while we were there. My biggest complaint is the grass, especially in the back yard. It was to our knees and we felt like we couldn’t truly enjoy the pool. Coming from rainy, SE GA I know how fast the grass can grow in the summer, but I felt like it would have been a better experience if property management had cut the grass before we came. Other than that the water pressure wasn’t the best in the main bathroom but that happens anytime you stay somewhere I feel like. Overall a good stay just wish the yard had been cleaned up more.

Listing Description and Images are not up to date. Property needs TLC

Location and accessibility were good. I-Trips were pleasant to work with. Having soaps, local coffee, & treat coupons was nice. But, like others have said, honestly, the house needs some major TLC. The property doesn't even look like the pictures here. Kitchen & living area floor and the dining table were filthy. The dryer takes many cycles to dry. Bunk beds & all pillows were uncomfortable. Shower curtains are moldy plastic, not cloth. The master shower head is not handheld as the listing describes. There were very few, if any rugs in the rooms. The kitchen sink needs re-caulked. No toaster and few cooking dishes, but 2 cabinets full of wine glasses. Kitchen is a junky, random hodge-podge of stuff. Random junk was everywhere; closets, cabinets, the laundry room and backyard. Laundry room had bed, headboard, dirty linens with notes on them, bed toppers, dirty rugs etc. The sunroom roof has water damage and mold. Backyard the pool/liner is dirty & black on the top, fence is missing boards, leaning, & falling down. Lawn is unkept & landscaping overgrown. No wood. No hammock, Dangling, moldy rope lights just need to be removed.. Didn't go to mgt because it's very unlikely they would have replaced the fence or yard due to cost. Suggest that Mgmt simply remove the broken chairs/items & soiled linens instead of "storing" them at the house & update photos.
