NO BEACH SUPPLIES PROVIDED. Audio/video monitoring is recorded outside all units, the parking area and at entry doors. The laundry room is monitored as well. The home was built in 1924 and we are the second owners. It has been in our family since 1974\. The building has 3 apartments. Apartments A & B downstairs are available for rent and may be occupied during your stay. Apartment C ( this apartment) takes up the entire upstairs and has a front and back staircase. Please observe quiet time from 10pm-8am keeping TV, music, regular noise and conversations at a low volume that does not disturb other guests. The sun porch is enclosed with original fixed and sealed multi-paned windows with sun blinds. It has heart of pine floors in the living/dining room and both bedrooms. There is tile in the kitchen, bathroom and sun porch. There is crown molding throughout, ceiling medallions, 10 foot ceilings and character galore. It has central heat and air. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware, serve ware, bar glasses, coffee bar, slow cooker, waffle iron, mixer, milkshake machine, toaster , electric tea kettle and other miscellaneous items. The refrigerator has ice and water in the door. The stove has a smooth ceramic cooktop with a self cleaning oven. There is a dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal. It has a large stainless steel farm sink, marble countertops and an island with quartz top that seats three. The bathroom has 6 foot marble walls, adjustable wall makeup mirror, hand painted chinoiserie stenciling above the marble, first aid kit, toiletries and a walk-in marble shower with hand held sprayer. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, a highboy for clothes, bedside Waterford crystal lamps, a fan with remote control, robes, extra sheets, pillows and blankets, a sewing kit (front bedroom), full size dressing mirror, iron with ironing board and hangers. The outdoor deck is roomy with casual seating for four. There’s also a table with an umbrella and four chairs for dining. In the evening ambient lighting comes on automatically when it gets dark and goes off automatically. The background sounds of a garden fountain provide a relaxing environment to read a book, visit with friends, have dinner or catch some rays. The deck is enclosed with lattice railing for privacy. The gate has a top slide bolt closure. If you plan on going to the beach you'll need to provide your own beach supplies. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ANY ITEMS FROM THE COTTAGE INCLUDING TOWELS. Our area of town is called Uptown. The neighborhood is a mixed use area combining residential and commercial. Pelican Landing Sports Bar / Restaurant is across the street as is Old Town liquor store. The Fountain of Youth is 1 1/2 blocks (across the street). The tour trolleys are just down the street to the left as well as the Old Jail. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, everything you could think of needing they have and it is a short walk from downtown. You cannot go wrong staying here! After my experience, I must say that everything lived up to expectations. The place was perfect, communication was smooth, and the location made traveling around the area very easy. The unit was decorated elegantly, comfortably and was immaculate, and also well equipped with all the extras! The property location was fantastic, walking distance to historic downtown and the many restaurants. So clean. Amazing details throughout this modern yet vintage feeling apartment. Beds are very comfy. The kitchen is beautiful. The owner really thought of everything as far as details. This is a beautiful property! So clean and everything you could need. The beds are so so comfortable! Open deck upstairs is awesome for hanging out. You can't beat the location. You can walk to so many of the sites and the shops. Easy to hop on the trolley, too. The owner had great communication. She was so sweet and left a surprise goodie and a welcome note. Believe me when I say the pictures do no justice(everything was exactly the way it was pictured). My daughter was amazed at the different types of coffee makers :). This is an amazing little place to stay, very clean, very quiet and in walking distance to downtown St Augustine. We had no issues at all. This place was so charming that my wife couldn't even believe how adorable it is the moment we walked in. This was the most immaculately clean place I have ever stayed. You could eat off the floor.... it's that well kept!!! The 2 beds have different mattress types which is great so you have a choice. Both felt great. The owner is very nice and responds to any questions immediately. The location is prefect and everywhere we went was within 5 to 10 minutes from the condo. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to St Augustine. 5 stars all across the board!! ##### steve w. The owners have thought of every potential need and then some. We felt like we were in a darling French cottage with so much character. Sipping coffee on the sun porch while listening to old records was beyond enjoyable. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, lovely art, classic elegance will make for wonderful memories. It was very cold during our stay so we didn’t get to use the rooftop patio, but it was an adorable spot as well. The only possible negative is that the area could be a bit noisy with loud cars at times. I’m sensitive to noise, but there are so many positives that it was a minor thing.
