The cottage has been finished to the highest standard and comfortable sleeps 2 in a double bedroom with access to the patio via the French doors. The open-plan kitchen lounge is peaceful whether the bifold doors are open to the fresh air or cosy with the wood burner. Property features a Dyson Purifier which purifies, humidifies and cools the bedroom in the cottage. The property has it's own entrance on the ground floor and free parking for one car at the end of the driveway. The accommodation layouts are as follows:Ground Floor - 1 double bedroom with luxury mattress and with full wardrobe. Perfect for guests with mobility requirements. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with a Lusso hand wash basin, a wall hung WC and a delightful Spanish caustic tile floor. Whilst there is no garden available with the cottage, there is an enclosed patio garden via the French doors in the bedroom or via the bifold doors in the lounge. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a fridge, a Smeg ceramic 2 ring hob, and a high spec oven/microwave. There is no washing machine available for guest use. This place is a stunner. The views of St. Andrews are out of this world from this little cottage. The owners did a spectacular job of putting this place together and decorating it. It's all very new and fresh and modern. The door was a little weird to figure out at first, but once we did, all went well. Bed was comfortable, but I think it's a stretch to call it a king size... at least by American standards. However, it was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is if you're older, you may have trouble with the bed and possibly the couch - they're both low to the ground, especially the bed. It's not on a frame, so you're right on the ground. An older person would really struggle to get in and out of it, I think. But it was comfortable, plenty of closet storage in the bedroom. Views - again - wonderful.As for finding the cottage? Well, that was fun. We actually ended up on the cart path of the golf course across the street - yes, on the actual cart path - before we realized the navigation system didn't really know where to go. So it would be a little more helpful to maybe add a pin to the directions or some other kind of way to find the cottage using a car's nav system. The link in the welcome email is correct, but getting that into a rental car's nav is the sticky part. Don't put in Balone Garden Cottage or Mount Melville in a car's nav because you WILL end up in the middle of a golf course! ##### Heather S.
