The staff was great, location is amazing, my room was adequate but small, my only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock. My breakfast was cooked well and i would stay again. Thank you

Wonderful room, central location, a most generous breakfast, and nice staff. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Saint Andrews! Had to reach out to Expedia customer service because messages were not being delivered through the app, but that does not seem to be the fault of the B&B. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This was my second time staying at this property, on both occasions my room has been clean, comfortable and warm with all the basic necessities provided. The location is ideal for walks on the beach and the service at breakfast in the morning was excellent.

So convenient to everything like dining & the golf courses, plus the castle. Wonderful quiet room with a terrific bathroom tub & very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good served by polite staff. Liked the overall decor. Only problem was finding a parking space.

Poor service at 5 Pilmour Place
We took two rooms at 5 Pilmour Place. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable and great location to all St. Andrews has to offer. It seemed that a noise curfew might be enforced as the bar quieted just after 11.30pm. Do not rely on the staff as they do not respond to the calls made to the local number they provided and forget requesting an early take away breakfast as we did and it was not provided even though the back up staff at their sister establishment took our order requests. Two thumbs down for integrity!

Very comfortable stay. Great location. Friendly lady at breakfast. Nice big bathroom. Thought it would be noisy at night but don’t be put off by the main road, it wasn’t a problem.

Didn’t receive check in details. Was left standing outside emailing to try and get in. No staff on hand. Room was not the one that was booked. Breakfast fine and staff apologetic but poor experience and poor value for money

Hi Stuart, I do apologise you did not find your experience adequate. Check in info was sent out through the booking method messaging system 48 hours prior to arrival (Sept 13th at 7:54am) Not sure why this was not received on your end. However your attempt at contact on arrival was returned within 4 minutes. As stated when booking we have a contactless check in method in place. The room you booked was where you were allocated, the bed config required was not what was requested at time of booking which was quickly amended for another room of the same level with the desired bed. I don't know much else we could have done to fulfil your stay. Hope you enjoyed your time in St Andrews.All the best, No.5 Pilmour

Fantastic accommodation, 30 secs from Dunvegan pub and 3 mins from the old course, close to everything Very spacious rooms, bathroom were fantastic and there is a garden to chill out in

We stayed in room 7 which was a new build at the end of the garden. The room was modern and well appointed. You didnt need to go through the house to get out, the access from the room out the back garden was only a few steps away to Golf place and the 18th hole. There was also a lovely courtyard with a few tables and a suntrap. Breakfast was mediocre, we preferred to go into town for breakfast as Forgans is a favourite, especially for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

A must stay if in St Andrews
The location is great, cannot get better for St Andrews, the place is spotless and the rooms very comfortable, but Peter makes you feel so welcome this is like a little home from home- he's great! Cannot recommend highly enough.
