The Luxurious Colonial

This beautiful home will take your breath away! Beautifully decorated and clean, ready to make your stay one you will never forget. Located in the center of Springfield, close to everything. This house is perfect for a romantic getaway or for large groups with tons of space. You have the entire house which includes four bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and dining room. The basement includes two living areas, cozy fireplaces throughout the entire house and a huge backyard with a jacuzzi.

This beautiful three-story house has all the space you need. On the top floor you have a full bath with two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with a King bed. The main floor has two bedrooms, both with Queen beds and living room, dining room and large kitchen. The kitchen has a stove, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and Keurig Expresso machine with complimentary coffee. The downstairs has two living areas. One side has a large area with a fireplace and mini bar and the other side has a couch, TV and play area for any children visiting. Fireplaces are located throughout the entire house as well as televisions.

We came to Springfield to play in a tennis tournament. The location was perfect-close to the tennis complex and Starbucks! The house was exactly as described. It had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, a large kitchen, two washer and dryers, three sitting areas and a hot tub! The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The host responded quickly to my questions and even had a nice welcome sign on the fridge for our group. Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Teresa the hostess/property Manager was great. Her replies were prompt & she left a personalized message on the refrigerator for our arrival. The house is tucked away in a modest neighborhood what seemed like Right in the Middle of town, which was greatly convenient. The kitchen was mildly equipped and we managed fine. The hot tub & lights in the backyard were wonderful for our hangout & we will definitely keep this place in mind for our next Springfield trip

Nice house with quick access to road. Plenty of linens and room to spread out! Only one full bath (+half bath downstairs) with a smaller vanity, this could be an issue for those who fill the house with people. Great family room and dining space to relax. Neighborhood was quite during our stay, would use again!

The house was big enough for my family and I to enjoy being together as well as our own space. When we got there, there was a welcome message, some snacks and a binder full of local things to do.The bedrooms were great size. Even with the air conditioner on it did get a little warm in the upper bedrooms. I would suggest fans or free standing cooling units for those rooms in the summer. But the overall stay was great! There was so much to do in Springfield. Thank you!

Enjoyed a wonderful girls weekend at the Luxurious colonial!! The house was clean and adorable. Plenty of space for all four of us. There is not any food places within walking distance but we just went and grabbed food and groceries so it was not a big deal. The backyard was so nice. There was plenty of seating on the deck and the hottub was perfect. There are extra towels to use for the hot tub. The shower in the basement is amazing!! Such a cute place with so many areas to hang out. Teresa also left us a sweet welcome note on the fridge as well as some snacks! I would highly recommend this place!

Our family from several neighboring states converged here for a football weekend with our two college-aged sons one of whom attends MSU and the other who played for the opposing football team. The house was PERFECT! Location is safe, quiet and close to any amenities needed (including campus). Kitchen was large and there’s a large dining table so we were able to host family meals no problem. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the fully enclosed LARGE backyard and came prepared with ladder jacks and bags while also enjoying the clean hot tub late into the evenings. The house is adorable and so well kept. With 4 bedrooms and 3 comfy sectionals in the house, everyone slept so well and had plenty of privacy! There are lots of additional pillows and blankets! I would recommend a fan for the bedroom off the kitchen and although all pans and utensils are provided in the kitchen, if you plan to cook, bring ziplocks or containers for your leftovers. Teresa is extremely responsive (probably the best I’ve experienced using VRBO) & very friendly. I have already recommended this place to other MSU parents and without hesitation recommend it again here.

Fo rhe most part the home was beautiful one of the nicest we have stayed in using VRBO. The main complaint was the window in the bedroom that used to be their garage. The room was extremely cold and the only heat was a portable heater. The window in the bedroom was open at the top a couple of inches. We tried to close the window but it wouldn't latch. M son who is an engineer went outside to see if we could get it to close from the out side but the window just collapsed in to the bedroom. The frame is wrapped and the latches are broken so the window will not lock. When I spoke to the homeowner she offered to come look at it but we weren't able to connect on the time because of our schedule. it was a safety issue and made us very uncomfortable to put my 11 year old granddaughter in the room alone. It needs to be taken care of before anyone else rents the home. Our only other complaint is the beds could use some new pillows and they really need to get the pipes looked at for the downstairs bathroom as when the shower is on it sounds like a bomb is going off or someone is falling and has been hurt. It literally rattles the entire house. Would I stay there again if we go to Springfield yes. I would just like to know that the window has been taken care of.

1. Provide soap in showers 2 more chairs, folding or stationary 3 can opener didn’t work, we had to borrow one from neighbor. Not enough kitchen towels. No pot holders 4 We appreciate you coming to check out the hot tub. But we were disappointed to not be able to use it the 2nd night because water was cold. 5. We saw your binder of things to do. We would have appreciated info about things to do in the immediate area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was spacious and very clean. Furnishings were comfortable and not broken down. Neighborhood was decent however there were some vagrants (homeless) in the area. The home is advertised as a 2 bath but it's actually a bath and a half. We made it work with 3 females and 2 males just fine with very little complaints. Beds were comfortable especially the main floor queen ( the room my wife and I took). There were a lot of extras that came with this rental such as coffee, teas, toiletries, extra linens, pillows, and much more. I've lived in Springfield before and I'm familiar with the area and I felt safe with this rental. So here's the bottom line, would I rent this VRBO again? YES! It was worth the money and is fairly priced.
