"The hotel was an attractive stone building with an adjoining bistro/bar. There was also a coffee shop/pastry over the road. We were there 6pm to 8am so were able to park for free across the road. Everything in the room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were attentive."

"Great place for a staycation! Close to many restaurants, shops, and easy access to nearby towns for different activities. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We got lucky and the resort was not too busy so there was plenty of spaces for the pool, no wait at the restaurant, etc. also if you are an early morning person their cafe opens at 6:30 am which was great! There are also plenty of cafes nearby that open early. The not so great: if you are a light sleeper or bothered by noise overall beware it can get noisy. We stayed from Thursday to the weekend and we could hear everything happening at the pool, music from the venue, and other guests in the hallways being a bit loud at night but we didn’t mind as much since it was not all night. We traveled with our toddler and she had a great time and her sleep was not disrupted."

"I stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The full kitchen was so useful, and the big couch was comfortable. I rarely heard the guests downstairs (mainly just in the bathroom). The place is centrally located. There’s plenty of room for 3 people. There were so many thoughtful touches from the hosts, everything was well appointed. One of the beds was pretty bouncy for 2 people, but the other bed was comfortable for one. I also appreciated that there was a washer and dryer. We didn’t use the pool, but the pond is cool! We’d definitely stay again, and would recommend it to my friends."

"The property felt clean, had plenty of offerings for additional activities such as pool table, board games, and outdoor space. The bed and linens were comfortable and luxurious. Awareness items: upstairs has 5 rooms with 1 bathroom to share. The other 1.5 bathrooms are downstairs - one inside the master room with the powder room next to it. Some of the finishings were a bit dated, but not that visible at high level. The pool area is lovely as it is within the trees however the pool floor is considered marbleized but on closer look it looks like time has taken a toll on it so we didn't walk on it. We did feel the temp of the water and it was very cold even though it was 80degrees outside."

The pool was a welcome refreshment after daytime outdoor activities. The deck and pool area offer beautiful views of the valley floor below. The kitchen is very functional for large meal prep. Overall, the Haven is true to its name."
