Step into this tastefully furnished, well preserved 1904 home full of character and charm. Features include 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, original woodwork, a clawfoot tub, and antique lighting.
A well equipped kitchen with Viking appliances and granite counters make cooking a delight!
Enjoy the front porch, back patio, and upper back porch: there are many spaces to enjoy together or alone. There is also a piano for music lovers.
The lush yard offers many seasonal options including cherries, pears, herbs, along with shade from a weeping willow and solar lighting for your enjoyment.
Please note that this is a multi-level historic home with steeper than average stairs. While there is a bathroom with a tub on the second floor, the only shower is on the main floor, and all the bedrooms are on the upper levels. Some considerations if guests have mobility limitations.
Please note, the home does not have central air conditioning. There are window A/C units installed in 3 of the bedrooms to help keep things comfortable. While the house sleeps up to 12 guests, the third floor can get quite warm during the peak summer months, especially when outdoor temperatures are above 75°F. While the third floor has its own portable A/C unit, it can remain quite warm and may be uncomfortable for sleeping in the summer.
If you’re booking during June, July or August, we recommend considering whether there are enough other beds and/or spaces for the amount of people in your group in an event that the upstairs space feels too warm.
Home is located near downtown Spokane with easy freeway access. The neighborhood is close to a park with a playground and the bluff hiking trails.
