Peaceful Forest Park Lodge

Welcome to the Forest Lodge! This gorgeous house is ready for family, friends, and events! Throw the perfect family reunion or a get-together with friends and enjoy the beautiful views and private setting. This large home has 6 bedrooms (7 beds), 4 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, an arcade machine, large TVs, Wifi, a large front deck and a back grilling patio, tons of games, and so much more! Garage space for two cars and a large barn (available for events or storage at an additional cost). *Not pet friendly*

Main Level Rooms:

Bedroom #1
The primary bedroom includes a king bed, nightstands, a dresser, a walk-in closet with an attached bath, an extra-deep jetted tub, a separate stand-up shower, and a sink vanity.

Bedroom #2
King bed with attached bathroom and attached children's room (see bedroom #3). The bathroom has two toilet rooms with sink vanities and a jetted tub/shower unit.

Bedroom #3
This room is small and contains one full-size bed and nightstand, please note you must walk through bedroom #2 to reach bedroom #3.

Main Living Room/Kitchen/Dining Room
This is a large open-concept room with large windows overlooking the front yard and deck. The dining table seats 8 (there is an additional table in the adjoining room), and the kitchen island also seats 4. This room contains a large sofa, a loveseat, and two recliners. The kitchen has an oversized pantry for large groups.

Front Deck/Back Patio
The large front deck has several patio chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view and can be accessed through the sliding door in the living room. The back patio is accessed by the kitchen sliding door and contains an outdoor table, chairs, and a grill.

Sun Room
This room is next to the main living room/kitchen area and contains an additional table for eating or games, a sofa, a desk, and a tv. This room leads to the main laundry room and also has a half bath with a toilet and sink vanity. The circular stairs here lead to a small loft area with a kid's wedge couch/bed. It is used as a sleeping bag area and leads to an outside deck.

Basement Level Rooms:

Bedroom #4
This bedroom has a California king bed, nightstand, and closet.

Bedroom #5
This bedroom has a King bed, nightstand, and closet.

Bedroom #6
This bedroom has a Queen bed with a nightstand and no closet. It has an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink vanity.

Sleeping Nook
This room has a Queen bed, nightstand, and no closet or no windows - it is not a technical bedroom as it does not have a window and is not a fully enclosed room. This particular room is partially open to the basement Rec Room area(this can be seen in the Rec Room photos).

Main Basement Bath
This bathroom has a shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink vanity.

Rec Room
This large room contains a sofa, loveseat, chair, and large tv.

Laundry Room/Utility Room
This is our second laundry room

Game Room
This room has a recliner, a large game table, and a multi-game arcade.

The whole house is available to guests (except for the housekeeping room).

We are available 24/7 by phone and we have someone who can be to the property within 1-2 hour's notice at all times and within 20 minutes the majority of the time.

This home is in a peaceful wooded area about 5 minutes outside of Spearfish. It's a great location for being close to restaurants and grocery stores while feeling the privacy of the country. The neighbors are a mixture of homeowners and Airbnbs.

The large shop is only available upon special request and additional fee. The use is subject to approval on an individual case by case. Use is not guaranteed or included with a normal reservation.
House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No smoking permitted. Should this rule be violated, we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company and the guest will be liable for the $2,500 dollar charge.

Pets
No pets allowed

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is for 14 people. More than fourteen people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed by the homeowner before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

We may leave consumables for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting
neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
