The room we stayed in was big, which was a nice change! The breakfast was yummy. The hosts are quite fantastic. Upon departure, we were able to purchase a picnic lunch from them which enabled us to enjoy a full day in Glencoe without needing to stop and locate a restaurant. You get great service when you stay at the Tirindrish House. Incidentally, we needed to do laundry and found a great little laundromat at the Ben Nevis Holiday Park in Fort William. Our fault, we added a stop at Stirling Castle on our way from Edinburgh. I wish we could have had more time to see the area (hence the “goods”). Beautiful house with fascinating history, very comfortable and tastefully decorated room, and friendly, helpful host. We booked at Tirindrish at the last minute after a car wreck and the need to head home early, but it was a fantastic find. Our stay at Tirindrish was short, but it was the most memorable of our weeklong stay in Scotland.
