Enjoyable stay in a cute little cabin. Cabin was clean and fairly private. We especially enjoyed spending the evenings by the fire pit. Great location to be able to visit the many state parks in the area. We do wish the bed would have been a little more comfortable, but that's individual choice so may be perfect for someone else. All in all, we would definitely stay there again if in the area.
Cute little cabin stocked with all the essentials and close to several state parks to enjoy. Great location, great place, great stay! We had an awesome time here and will definitely be bragging about it!
The cabin was great. Clean and the location was very peaceful. We both enjoyed the quiet and even had a deer walk through the first night.

This cabin was so nice and clean. The host provided everything we needed from hand soap to wash cloths and towels, they even had some delicious coffee pods and simple snacks. We would certainly stay here again and recommend to all our friends.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay while exploring local trails and breweries. The cabin was quiet, cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. We would stay again.
This little cabin was a perfect stay. The property was very clean and nicely decorated. It sits in a private yet easily accessible spot. We will definitely stay again.
Place was perfect size and host responded back quickly with any questions.

Very nice cabin. Several state parks with beautiful waterfalls are within a half hour drive from the cabin. 2 hours south of Nashville and an hour north of Chattanooga. Only complaint would be that it was cold in the cabin, but to be fair, it was really cold out when we were there.
I really appreciate Cunningham Cabins hosting me for my retreat and my opportunity to rest in the Lord. It was quiet, convenient, cozy, comfortable, and was what I needed.
My boyfriend and I traveled for the first time together and he picked the VRBO. I told him that knowing his thrifty tendency I would give him this one chance to see if I would upgrade on the next trip somewhere together. Needless to say I would rebook this cozy little cabin again and again! It was clean, comfortable and close to all the hiking trails we were anticipating. We enjoyed the bonfire which was stocked with perfectly sized firewood and big comfy rocky chairs to enjoy coffee in the morning. Has everything you need and didn’t break the bank so we can visit another time and hike new waterfall trails because we couldn’t finish them all in our 2 night stay.
We love this little cabin!! We’ve stayed here 5 times now and plan to come back again. Great little rustic cabin with semi-privacy. If you’re looking for super glam, maybe not your place. If you’re looking for a great country get-away, this is it. Clean, well-stocked, good wi-fi, DirecTV Stream. Love having coffee in the morning sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, deer wonder by, cows mooing across the creek. Spend your nights sitting by the fire pit watching the stars. Incredible hiking and waterfalls in every direction. Great town of Sparta nearby. Small fridge so bring a cooler. Might need it for your growler of beer you’ll want to bring back from Calfkiller Brewing or your wine from Northfield Winery. Relax and Enjoy.
From Dragon Flies to Deer - This Cabin is Truly Peace on Earth
Dragon Flies, Fireflies, Deer, Ground hog, turtles, fish and the occasional hawk sighting. This has got to be one of the most peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable stays I have yet encountered in my years of staying at VRBOs. A terrific experience. From the first communication, to checking out, everything was at it should be and better. Upon arrival late at night, the lights where on for us, the A/C was on making the temperature just right and after a 15 hour drive, finding ice ready for us was a treat. Plenty of linens and towel, even some spices and two types of coffee makers with coffee available was great. The only issue one might have would be the smaller fridge but surprisingly, it had a bigger than average freezer compartment for a unit of that size. I hope to return to this sanctuary again soon. I am planning on staying there again soon.
It was a fun, hot week. Everyday we went to a state park to hike, swim, and paddle board. The listing was a bit deceiving because it said it was 5 minutes from Fall Creek Falls. It is not 5 minutes from anything-everything seemed to be about 30 minutes. We went to Fall Creek Falls State Park (where you can’t swim in the lake because it’s contaminated, but there are some other areas to dip in), Rock Island State Park (the water was like 90 degrees at the sandy beach!! And if you have a kayak or paddle board it’s so worth it to put in at the lake and go to the right -down the river—so many waterfalls!), and Burgess Falls State Park (has some neat waterfalls but if you want to swim you go 5 minutes from there to Cane Creek Hollow Rec Area. You can just swim or paddle/kayak 2 miles down a river to a gorgeous waterfall that you can swim under!
Now for the cottage 😁 Everything was as shown in the pictures except there was no toaster (just a toaster oven) and the bed is a full, not a queen as we were hoping! Some deer came to drink from the pond in front of the house a few times and there were no mosquitoes. We didn’t want to walk in tall grass where it wasn’t mowed so we didn’t see the creek. There are 2 other cabins on the property but didn’t see any other people while we stayed. There are 2 awesome rockers on the front porch and a nice picnic table which was great to sit on in the morning as we ate breakfast!
